We could make a one week deadline from today for the matches to be done. If they don't get their match in by the deadline it will count as a forfeit and the winner would be chosen at random. If none of the teams got their match in by then, the tourney would probably just end up being cancelled. Edit: Will go with this, you guys have until next Sunday to get your match in. Noticed something in game yesterday that I should have clarified. The team that gets scored on always starts with the ball. You must pass it anywhere on your own side (behind the half way line), not just take a straight out shot. By passing I mean knifing the ball, not knocking it back a foot then taking a shot. The team that is not starting with the ball has to stay out of this circle, so the other team will have room to kick off:

Well yeah, primarily we are supposed to talk to the other captain at any time we want and decide on a scheduled time for the match. Whenever a match gets scheduled Labarr or I will make a post detailing it, and the match will be played at that time. At the time of the match, if needed, you can play 3v3 or even 4v3 and still have a decent chance at winning.

The tournament will be played on the soccer server, at 74.91.116.99:27015 Follow it here: http://challonge.com/SGSoccer It will be run similar to how the SGSL 3v3 tournament was. The captains will get in touch with either Labarr or myself about when their match will be, and a thread will be created in the soccer subforum for reference. After the match, any player/referee will have to post in it the score and winner. Every team has at least one admin who can start the match. To start it, go under "Match" by using !menu. Then press "Start" and it should be good to go. I can also give each captain the ability to start the match if necessary. Rules Played on nassa_indoor_v2 The match will consist of (2) 10 minute halves, with a 30 second halftime. Obviously, the team with the highest score at the end wins. The teams will be 4v4. Subs can come in at anytime, but it would be best to wait until someone scores or at halftime. The lower seed (team with the higher team #) gets first half kickoff, and the ball must be passed behind the half field line. The other team gets the second half kickoff. Stay on your side of field during kickoffs. The server will be passworded at the time of every match, the password will be "soccer". After a goal, the team who was scored on gets to start with the ball. We decided to have 8 set captains and then randomize the remaining 32 players onto the teams. The captains will have to get in touch with their team and their opponent and schedule the matches.
