Ok so my CSS wont start. i recently had EVERYTHING but pictures and music deleted and formated. I installed steam and all and CSS and when i hit play it says Preparing to Launch Counter Strike Source then that goes away and nothing happens. I defraged the game/ verifed the files and CSS is the only game on my PC. Do i need HL2? i can post a screenshot of my files if needed

I dont know, Take the Alt. : Delete steam and reinstall

CTRL+ALT+DLT Go to processes, look for Steam.xex, cancel process, open Steam again If not, disable your ingame chat. Load CSS, close CSS, enable and it should work

Positive it isn't a C connection you may have it as lan or the IP is wrong.
