One of my friends, who runs a newly set up zombiemod server asked me how to get the player controlled vehiclues on boatescape5 to work (instead of glitching everyone through the bottom like they used to on our servers). He has these in his cfg.: sv_turbophysics 1 phys_pushscale 3 sv_pushawayclientside 1 sv_pushaway_force 35000 sv_accelerate 10 sv_airaccelerate 100 any ideas?

Generally rule of thumb i use is that if someones actions result in the death of teammates (by closing gates early, blowing bridges) without good reason, it merits a kick. If not, players will be warned not to do it again

I think my other issue was that i've seen people playing guitar hero with more passsion than what he looks like he is doing

So you didn't like this guy (who, by the way, i've never even heard of before) because people had told you he was good, then you downloaded all his stuff (you've listened through 40 albums and they're all quality? does buckethead just sit in his house all day playing guitar down a mic, then cutting and pasting it) and now suddenly he is the greatest guitarist who has ever lived /played? A good guitarist isn't simply one who can stand there on stage and just play a guitar by himself (he also has some random guys who seem to play some little melodies in the background). Thats just called jamming. The best guitarists could tie their guitar in with complicated songs, and perform improv guitar solos which would still fit perfectly into the song, and could play a vast range of different styles (look at Brian May for example). Its also about stage prescense, making the crowd hang off every note of your guitar. think i've got nvidia 8800 gtx, so doubt its that. It isn't specifically breakfloor either, i've tried playing a different zombie server with a friend and my internet crashed, when i try play on deathrun or horde it crashes as well...

Its my parents router unfortunatly. But i'm not sure its about how much it can handle. I was just playing escape I with 40 people for over an hour (on laggy maps as well) and i had no issue, but if i try to go play breakfloor my internet crashes after a round

The only thing which has really changed since i moved house is the wireless connection, as its now a different router and isp. I don't see why the internet crashes for any server but escape though

You can turn it off somewhere in vista. do you have a laptop?

I've had a bit of a problem recently playing cs:s. I can play escape I and II fine, but if i try to play any other server (even not one of ours) my internet crashes after a round or two. This has only been an issue since i moved home at the end of June, so internet provider has changed, as has router. My pc is pretty powerful, and i run vista. Can anyone help?

***SPOILER*** Love the game, enjoyed it loads as a simple puzzler, and the twist on the last mission made me so happy . Apparently the portal gun will be in half-life 2: episode 3 :D:D

It was probably that you lagged a little, and the aniumations just occured at the same time instead of spread out
