Just stay on a vent channel whenever you're on the computer, and when you go away just simply go into the AFK channel. Be active on the forums, but be ample about it. Don't be a post whore. The best thing to do is go in-game once a day for a little bit, say for like one hour. That way you get seen by people and admins(especially if you're trying to apply for it) everyday instead of just one day out of the whole week. Being seen everyday for smaller amounts is usually better than being seen for long amounts on just one day.
