  1. TitanFall 2

Let me know how it is. Enjoyed the first one but didnt stay interested as long as I would have liked for the price... Have been debating on whether or not to get 2.
  2. No way!
  3. Thanks for this chance and congrats to the others as well!

  6. VR Gaming

I have an oculus dk2, would be badass if not for the pixelation. At a later date (when I can afford it or the price goes down) I plan on getting a vive for sure .
  7. Congrats you guys, all well deserved!
  8. Awesome work Liam!
  9. agar.io

    mitos.is is better imo . http://store.steampowered.com/app/389570/
  10. Thanks but despite what Silent says, there is a lot with this server that could never have been accomplished without him.
  11. A 4 core vds with 2 extra gb of ram should be enough to handle it at the start. That would be $47.98 a month. After writing custom content and getting things worked in, it could potentially need 4 cores with 4 extra gb, which would be $55.98. Both of these amounts would be easily surpassable with the donations the server would gather. I'd be more than happy to pay the first $47.98 to get it started.
  12. Which brings me to a point that I forgot, which will probably cause half the men in the community to vote yes; Their adding women soon.
  13. Rust Server

Hey Folks, I think its high time SG gives Rust another try. With the prior server, it was still just barely playable, with most of the players still enjoying Legacy. Rust Experimental has now reached the point where it contains the large majority of Rust players, while at the same time being much more entertaining than the state it was in before. It is my personal belief that SG could easily have a thriving Rust Server, and I'd be more than happy to volunteer my help. I've personally ran numerous successful Rust servers (40+ players on at most given times, monthly donation budgets of $150-200). I also know enough lua to make custom oxide content, and have also published a couple of my own Oxide Plugins. My main experience is in AntiHack and Server Performance. I volunteer my full help in maintaining the backend of the server, as well as providing the startup budget required for a VDS more than powerful enough to run it. Note that I would not be in control of the server, I would not even need backend access if they did not want me to; I'd be more than happy just writing things in the background. I have however helped with things in the background in the past; such as the SG minecraft servers. I've talked with a few SG members and heard their main concerns on another Rust Server. Their main concerns was based on being able to grab and maintain a player base. This area is easily solved; players flock to custom easy start servers. With some major customization on the loot rate, such as better airdrop and crate loot, x2 gather for sulfur and animal fat (gotta keep the raiding supplies in higher demand), x3 gather on Metal and Stone, x5 Gather on Wood and other supplies, x15 all around quarry production (not nearly as OP as it sounds), instant craft, and quick smelt. You also add zlevels, which makes the gather rate slightly higher per player the longer you farm. This makes the server much more new comer friendly, players will not be nearly as afraid to join in the middle of a wipe season, and much less likely to rage upon being raiding or farm killed. Another way that tends to draw players; most Rust players greatly enjoy the PvP. You make the map smaller than vanilla (around 3000), which insures that you'll run into someone at least every 10-15 minutes. This engages people in PvP, helps them either form enemies or Friends, while still being large enough to make sure its not a majorly cramped map. I believe fully that should SG take the challenge of another Rust Server, it would not be very hard to reach the top charts. 90% of the populated servers out there show a major lack of professionalism in their Admins and Server Operators. The last server I played on had 50+ players on at any given time, and the admins greatly enjoyed joining in with their powers during PvP fights and Raids. Just had an experience not long ago where an Admin dropped bear traps all around the person I was fighting, and another where I witnessed an admin flying into my base and authorizing himself as an owner, and then building stairs to the top of my base so his friends could easily raid me. I think with a couple SG admins, we'll instantly have a high advantage of the other servers out there. If @Caution wanted me to, I could also write things up to tie directly into the SG donation and subscriber system, making Credits redeemable between both the CSGO and Rust server. Lastly, I've already got @Nishok and @SilentGuns willing to help, along with a few other SG members that have said they'll try out the server if SG gets one. At this point all I need is your support and an AO+ interested in overseeing the Server.
  14. Have the G930 which I love, the best wireless headset I've had yet. Only con about it is that the jack for the charger starts wearing out after about 9-12 months.
  15. Personally like Titanfall, however I think the Campaign is rather cheap (Just the Multiplayer Maps with a short intro scene and people speaking during the fight, of which you can't understand what their saying because your always in intense combat in Titanfall). Anyways, if anyone has been playing it on PC, add me on Origin so we can play sometime, Spiritwind51.
  16. ^ Maybe triple points when there is less than 5 people on, and quad points when only one is on?
  17. I believe the 'changes' they are making is just a dlc that is coming up here pretty quick (like the one they just released). The only thing that worries me about getting a Chivalry server is that as said before, it would require at least one person to get on regularly when its empty, to start filling it up. The thing is, a lot of our css servers are that way. I did a test a month or two ago, and go onto the SG dust server, and just messed around by myself, and before I knew it, it was full of other random people. So its also something that we could be doing with some of our servers, but nobody is dedicated towards doing it at the present moment. But of course, its going to be like this with any game. Nobody is going to join an empty game server unless their bound to the group that runs it; simply because an empty game server is no better than single player, so they might as well be playing that. As for Arma 2 City Life, I've never even heard of it. May have to check it out. I think Perp would be an awesome server to have, but then again, I know some of the community members and higher ups don't like the idea. I also know that the Pulsar Community got bought, and their threatening communities that are running Perp servers . A well run TF2 server could get us very far. A well run TF2 server will bring players that will become greatly dedicated towards us. A well run TF2 server does not have to be a unique gamemode. I have seen new 'well run' 24/7 Payday servers become super popular, and support a budget of over $150 alone. Even though I personally hate the game, I think it'd be worth it for SG to try another TF2 server.
  18. Chivalry is a good idea, the only thing it takes to get other people on/make it popular is to already have players dedicated towards getting on it when its empty.
  19. Simply put, Rust would help a lot. There are very few servers for it, and every one of them have at least 20 players on ;). The one with the most players has over 125 people playing right now. For those of you that have never heard of Rust, its by Garry, you know, the guy that made Garrys Mod. The game is $20, with a max of 500 sales an hour. http://www.playrust.com/
  20. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_Selection_%28game%29 Natural Selection has been around since 2002 .
  21. Its full right now
  22. WOOOO!
  23. NS2 isn't extremely popular, mainly because the Development Studio is just starting out, and they cannot afford to mass advertise. However, the playerbase it does have is very stable. At the time of writing this, NS2 shows 4,000 players in game. One of the reasons I know an SG NS2 server would thrive easily, is that its one of those games that has less good servers than it playerbase needs. When I get on, generally there is only 1 or 2 decent ping servers with player slots (I live in the US, so any server US base generally = good ping). Both those servers usually have player slots because they lag like shit lategame (People hosting off their computer). Therefore, if we have an NS2 server and it has at least one person in it, 60% of the time its going to be at the top of the list for US players.
