Use Spybot Search and Destroy's Immunize feature regularly Use Adblock Plus Don't click links you don't recognize, don't trust any popup or window (even if its a windows error box), and NEVER CLICK "OK". Always click the X in the top right. The only time you ever click ok is when they pull the dick move of saying "Click OK to navigate away from this page or click cancel to stay!!11!" [edit] Also never run any executable file you haven't virus scanned. That includes music, videos, any sort of flash or java file, anything ending in .exe, and anything other than a picture really.
