Game Booster - Boost your FPS!

I discovered this freeware called Game Booster. Link.

 

It closes down unnecessary background tasks to clear memory to allow for better gaming.

I'm using it myself on my laptop and it easily boosts my DPS by 10 - 15fps or 5 - 8fps during gun fights.

 

I'd recommend it, it's free and it's reliable.

Helped a lot. Not so much with my fps but now my game doesnt like freeze, and then all my models will get messed up. Sometimes I won't see boxes but Ill see the people bhind them XD. When that happens I have to alt-tab out of game to refresh it and it goes back to normal. Usually, I'll have to do this 30-50 times a day. I haven't had to do this more then like 4 times so far! Interesting. I'll give it a try, and I'll recommend it to my friend who has serious FPS issues. (He uses SmartClose, which closes background tasks, but apparently this does a bit more than that.)

Well, if you already have a half-good desktop, it's not going to make THAT MUCH of a difference. But, apparently it really helps for laptops and for instability and incompatibility problems.
