CHL/NCAA Hockey

Anyone on here a fan of either the NCAA or the Canadian Hockey League? I'm not entirely familiar with NCAA, but I do some writing for a couple teams in the Quebec league (Saint John and Charlottetown).

 

Who do you cheer for?

Halifax Mooseheads ;) i dont really follow the Canadian league but during world junior ill watch and sometimes ill watch top prospects play. I more follow Nhl/NCAA.

Halifax actually isn't too far away from me. Maybe a 2-3 hour drive.

I don't really root for a CHL team since I don't live in Canada, however I've been to a couple Yale games in my life. I remember in 2013 when they went all the way to the Frozen Four and won against Quinnipiac, was probably the more exciting sports time in CT since UConn basketball. I wish Kenny Agostino, Andrew Miller, and Jeff Malcolm (actually within the Rangers organization) got good enough to play in the big leagues, Kenny has a bit more time since he's 24, but I really don't keep track of him so I wouldn't know what Calgary will do with him (probably just a good AHL player). At least Matthew Peca for Quinnipiac scored his career first last week.

Charlottetown has been disappointing lately. We went all in for a championship and have gone 0-2-1 since adding these new players. They were against two very beatable teams (Cape Breton and Halifax).

Excellent fight from the Charlottetown Islanders @ Cape Breton Screaming Eagles game. Cape Breton erased a 4-1 Islanders lead to win 5-4 in overtime.
