I want to start this off by saying I greatly thank all that this community has brought me over the years. It takes a lot to place trust in a person and takes even more to give someone who shit in their hands another opportunity for redemption. There are a couple of reasons as to why I keep that gif of Anakin Skywalker's Force ghost and a quote under it in my signature is because I embraced the whole meme of me being him. I kept that in my signature as a reminder that my return to SG was to salvage all that I could from what I damaged on my way out of this community. That mantra was a way to keep myself reminded of what I had done and what I need to do to end my journey the proper way. I am aware that I cannot fix everything I did nor will I be forgiven by everyone and with me leaving there may be some things that I will never get to repair, but I overall feel that I did what I could. For those who have given me the opportunity to show my true self and atone for my actions, I could not convey my gratitude enough.

 

I am stepping down for a combination of reasons. One being a lack of interest in CS:GO and a few others being family/personal issues that have unexpectedly come up within the past couple of weeks. When I made the decision, it came with great reluctance and disappointment in myself for leaving at a time where SG could use some more people in staff. However, I ultimately decided that I can no longer push these issues away and that the only way to potentially resolve them is by facing them head on. I cannot promise that I will be around much if at all, but I will try to pop my head in here and there.

 

There are a lot of people who have made my time here an amazing experience and have impacted my life in ways I could not imagine. I would be here forever if I were to write something out to everyone. The people who hold a special place in my heart or even just have my admiration know who they are and I will always love and appreciate you and all that you've done for me and for this community.

 

SG has been alive for over 10 years and I am confident that this community will continue to live on and provide more people like myself the experience that I was given over my course here. Thank you very much SteamGamers for everything and may you reach 20 years and onward.

I don't really know you on a personal level ,but what I can say is thank you for replying to my past player complaints xD. Although it could be sometimes a chore to always reply to player complaints, I wanted to let you know that I truly am thankful for every player complaint you've taken up on. You mentioned damaging the community in the past, but I wanna let you know that from the time I've started you've been a role model in keeping the servers clean. Keep your chin up and I wish up best of luck in the things you have to tackle

Erik, I met you through some retard named wertles recording a phone call convo I had which led me to an internet terrorist organization led by you, the mastermind behind it all. I really enjoy those times where all we did was play overwatch and you'd only play Reaper. And also watching tv/movie series which we never end up finishing. I was really happy when you were unbanned and everyone was together and you're like a brother I never had. We haven't been as close as before but you're still one of my very good friends. So much of the improvement I've gone through in the past year was thanks to you, so much of my demeanor change, diversity in ideas is thanks all to you. You've helped me on such a massive level I could not even begin to describe it. You even pushed me forward with euro when I was being a little kid about it. Knowing we're both stepping through the pearly gates at SG together is poetic in a sense, cause I think we both had a very similar agenda in trying to prove something about ourselves while having a genuine love for this place. I've already spoken to you personally about all of this, but I feel like publicly stating this really shines light on how much of a fantastic person you are. After all of the demonstrably shitty things people have spread about you, said to you, and treated you as I think you deserve at least one post which accurately depicts you as you are. You are an awesome, loving, and loyal person. So many of the people I would of disregarded as unlikable you've showed me the other end of the stick and made me a much less cynical person at the end of it all. I know you probably don't feel fully fulfilled maybe with your progress at SG but know that personally you've effected so many people in a beyond positive way- sometimes life changing. I wish so many things for you, and I hope that you stay a best friend of mine for as long as possible. I love you man, full gay shit intended.
