You're right but in those games you're not trying to survive in an open world. In this game, I'd wanna play it with my buddies so we can stick together and not get trampled on. Again with Amnesia and Dead Space, those are mission games. This game does have missions you can complete but it's also a survival game.

LOL like you said, it's what people want, and its an easy money maker. Imo it'll be an awesome and pants pissing game. My only suggestion is to maybe add co-op. Playing this with Oculus Rift and Turtle beaches is gonna be fucking horrifying.

The only problem I find with the timing is sometimes (most of the time) the CTs take FOREVER to open cells, make orders, make new orders, etc. Other than that i don't think there's a problem with how long the rounds are. If you have longer rounds, it's not gonna be very fun to play on. That's what I find with TTT. Yeah, it gives the traitors a hell of a lot of time to kill people, but if you die in the first few minutes then you basically sit on the bench for 6-7 minutes.
