I apreciate all the effort you guys put into this and I'm looking over these in some more detail after I'vee played my matches which start in about half an hour. I've got even better new for myself, I quit my job and got a bonus or whatever you might call. another 400 euros added. I know you have all beentrying to get me a pc of around 800 and I'd prefer it that way but I wouldn't mind if you hit 900 or even 1000 As I said, I'l look over your posts later and give my opinion and verdict and some more thanks ;) regards Delta

I've seen some of my friends with rather long faces after they tried to build their own pc for the first time. incompatible parts and mainly frustatration and shit. Thanks for the link Tweezy I didn't suspect to find site where you can configure your own pc. I'l let you guys know If you have any backup on lengthening the life of my current pc then by all means ;)

I'v got about 800 euros for a gaming pc, I know building a pc yourself is often better than buying one but I've got no clue how or where to start. any basic hints?

Hey, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong section but alas. My problem is the following, I run evrything smoothly but as soon as I play a game and I mean like any game ranging from civ 4 to shogun 2 I experience slowness and lagg and stuttering and hell what more. I can't even play an online flash game properly without it slowing down to a point where a mouse click registers and get executed by the program about 5 secs later. I tried so much strolled the internet (the forums included) and nothing has helped so far. I've had this pc for a long time now and though it isn't near anything perfect, it was always capable of playing non-intensive games like civ 4, cstrike and css. But frankly as of late all went down the sinkhole I reinstalled windows got the correct drivers and nothing has changed whatsoever I really hope you guys can help me out caus I simply miss playing a game of zombie escape or even ttt without lagging like fucking ducks on motorcycles. This is my setup: MOBO: Intel Grantsdale i915P CPU: Intel Pentium 4 630, 3000MHz 15 X 200 RAM: 1024MB GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT 1024 RAM HDD: 1 --> 75000MB (contains my OS) 2 --> 20000MB (Contains Steam and other Apps) Should I have forgotten something just reply or PM, please I'm growing nuts for this has been such a fucking pain for to long Regards Delta
