asus gets bad reviews because FAR more people purchase the asus'. And seriously. when was the last time anyone made a review on newegg that wasn't because it was a bad experience? I'm glad SOME people put good reviews, but seriously, most people only do it to complain. In my experience (which is alot, at least with asus), they make rock solid equipment and computers.

its as simple as alka says... and like I said and ganzta said, even though you've probably already reinstalled (for no reason really, going to game properties -> local files -> verify game cache would fix ANYTHING that reinstalling would do), restart the fucking computer damnit. my guess is you're on vista and you ended audiodg.exe for no discernable reason, which will disable any and all sounds until reboot. EDIT: thank god.. we talked you out of a stupid decision.

have you tried restarting the computer? and beyond that (sadly im almost certain from your message you probably havent) you realize you can copy your maps/files/skins over before reinstalling right? and the supporter skins are tied to your steamid, which is tied to your steam account, not cs install.

this, and, its not necessary, but I wish there were a way for a captain to say a players name (or pick from a menu) and said player is auto-moved.

Just quoting this one for reference, but to all of you, I wish I had your patience. My mom used to be kind of bad with computers (not THIS bad though), but I didn't let it go on for very long. If she ever had a stupid question I'd show her once and that was it, I'd ignore her or get very angry the next time. Now she can use a computer pretty well, and doesn't fall for all the stupid fuck popups and spam-mail everyone else in the damn building falls for that I have to fix for my job.

that's what i was thinking wtf... anyway, hs isnt that good of an excuse to be inactive.. ill be LESS active because being an EE student keeps you actually busy.
