Preferably, you'd do this: Front: intake (blowing inwards) Top: exhaust (outwards) Back: exhaust Bottom: intake Side: The one most directly over the cpu should be exhaust, the other should be intake.

i understand and agree with you, but the whole campus thing doesn't apply unless you live on campus. a college campus is all on the same lan, and so yes, a virus can and will infect them, but it does not work the same with an isp, if one user gets infected not every other subscriber does.

i've had perfect luck for over 10 years. the vulnerabilities you discuss i am very aware of, but am not that worried about. Odds are unless you made the wrong enemies anyone with the resources to use one of said vulnerabilities would never think twice about your existence.

google the instructions on how to get into the router settings of your router, often its just an ip address like 127.0.0.1 then go under the wireless settings and change it to WPA2 or the like and choose a good password with letters and numbers.

No. If you have a router that you port forward with, (which is nearly all home routers in existence today) you have no, absolutely NO reason to use a firewall. It's just a system hog nowadays.

i have the original flip up g15. i use it for 2 different reasons. 1, i have a custom app that shows me cpu/ram/ network usage, and 2, the most important, a trillian plugin so i can chat while in game.
