I've heard bad things about OCZ Psu's IF you have a big case (the lengths of the cords are short). As for Psu noise/efficiency, you can't go wrong with corsair or seasonic. Newegg has a tiered list of their top Psu's in terms of efficiency, failure rate, quality, etc. I bought an XFX because it's basically a remodelled seasonic M12 I believe, plus the green looks fucking cool. Most Psu's are silent anywhozzle.

^ I can help you with a build thats close to mine which was under 1k before Canadian HST. Came to around 1.4k after HST/screen/mouse/keyboard. If your not picky about money you can spend about 1.5k before taxes and get something really good on ncix.com because they have price matching as well. I price matched by HAF 922 from $130 --> $90, my XFX 750w from $135 --> $116 and my WD Caviar black from $107 --> 87. You can save a lot and build a better comp than mine since you don't have a price range.

So I want to edit some video gameplay and upload it on youtube. As of now I have cyberlink powerdirector 8, but I don't like some of the effects. Is there a purely effect orientated program, or am I have to going to get sony vegas or something else. Also, besides fraps, is there any good video recording softwares? I'm recording in HD resolutions but I don't wanna record at 30 fps/use 100gb worth of HDD space with clips.

From all my reading: Get a WD Caviar Black Get a bigger monitor to utilize the video card you have Dunno if he wants more processor power or not but i7 950's are about $300 OCZ vertex 2 sandforces are the best in SSD right now
