First thing I did was read CA, AO, and BD section when I got promoted. True story.

Goal: Create a drink based off a member's personality. Give it a title and the contents. Example: Garfield's Taint 3/4 oz Bailey's Irish 1/2 oz Creme de Menthe 3/4 oz Kahlua 1 oz Vodka AstRUM 1 oz Malibu Coconut Rum 1/2 Banana 2 scoops vanilla ice cream 1/2 oz Dark Rum (Barbados) Blend and serve.

There are a few minor issues with the template that need to be worked out. They can probably wait until after the launch, since they are mainly cosmetic. Going to chat with Astrum and Garfield tomorrow to see what's left to do. Things have been running well lately and I pushed the latest version of our skin to the forums (previous one wasn't 100% compatible at the time, it is now, though). Thanks for the continued patience.

Alright, I'll try and install it and I'll report back. Edit: Seems ok, I guess. It's missing some images, but I think it's trying to reference avatars and whatnot that don't exist on the test site.

It was? I don't recall that. I don't have one planned at the moment. The arcade we have now is not compatible and I haven't looked for alternatives.

No, what I meant was that he complained about the colors of the new skin, so I was (jokingly) saying that he will be forced to use the default skin.

Test forum is setup, thanks to Astrum for assisting with that. Many plugins were updated or changed to similar ones. There's still quite a bit of work to be done. The template needs to be changed a bit to match our current one (images and whatnot). There are other plugins and more backend work that needs implementing before this goes live. I hope to get most of the plugins and small changes completed by tomorrow if all goes well. For the people that thought this would be a quick and easy update, it isn't. I, too, thought it was going to be as simple as a few clicks and some waiting, but it's a lot more involved than that. We have a lot of customized crap that hasn't been worked on in a year or so that either needs to be updated, scrapped, or redone. There are also a lot of incompatible plugins that won't work but their alternatives might end up being better. Also, special thanks to Spiffy for the license and Third for the help on recommending plugins. I'm not going to promise a date as there is still too much to be done and I don't know what the future holds. I can say, though, that we are close to finishing it.

People get busy with other aspects, mainly work. Updating the forum usually is quick and dirty, but I think they have customized parts that would need to be redone for the upgrade.

Thanks, all. We planned on upgrading to VB4 on a whim but that was delayed until testing can be done with our current mods and hacks. We are going to work on something this weekend and I'll make an update (if allowed/plausible) and let you know what to expect.
