because the host might not be able to accommodate you. 10mb/s is a LOT of bandwidth, and oyu also live in Romania. I assume you're using U.S. websites and the only reason that speedtest is great is because it's going off of a server fairly close to you. Try changing your Steam location to a close one. Also you usually don't get the best speed off of torrenting. I have a 512Kb DSL line and I barely ever hit 50kb/s on any downloads.

You are paying way too much for your case. $139.99? Why not just buy a $60 coolermaster and call it good. New products on the market don't heat up as much as they use to. Mobo is a bit costy but w/e. Ram is a little high as well, you really need 8GB?

Replace Phenom II X4 with i3-2100 and the AMD mobo with a intel socket 1155 compatible mobo and use that. also don't use Caviar Green get a Caviar Blue or Black. ventrilo seems to be able to handle lag a lot better imo, it'll just keep downloading and send the messages eventually (although in a giant bomb) and on the other hand, mumble seems to cut the mic so you hear absolutely NOTHING when you lag, because it's trying to compensate.

enabling that plugin would ultimately just kill the server anyway, we've tried tf2 before (and once before that too?) and it died, so i mean f2pers are really your only shot to becoming even remotely filled.

The problem is that the motherboard on the combo deal has 6GB/s SATA slots but not 3gb/s and i dont think you have the 6gb/s wd caviar black (because you current mobo wouldn't support it), the 2nd motherboard in your post seems to be fine, but can you check what your hdd just to make sure that it's SATA 1.5Gb/s or 3Gb/s? because you'll need to make sure it's not 1.5Gb/s as none of the motherboards you've posted have SATA 1.5Gb/s compatbility. I dunno, but it's possible too that Sata 3Gb/s would work in a 6Gb/s slot but I'm not even 10% sure on that and I wouldn't even try it, I've tried googling that shit before and never got a straight answer so I doubt it. Okay yeah it's up to you, if you wanna drop the money on buying new parts you would definitely need a new cpu, ram, and a motherboard. a small jump would be the i3-2100, that's a dual core sandybridge cpu, it's an alright cpu. but the i5-2500k is, like i said, the best budget cpu. the motherboard you'd need would probably be around $70ish and the i5-2500k is about $219. the i3-2100 is $124. the ram you'd have to rebuy cause it'll be DDR3 most likely, unless you buy a DDR2 compatible mobo (useless considering DDR3 rapes the fuck out of DDR2) 4GB of DDR3 ram is about $80. 2GB is about $40, etc. this is really up to you, but it'd be around $350 (my original estimate) for this pack. and a little more for shipping and you'll need thermal paste. in the longrun you'd benefit a lot from a i5-2500k (overclocking this baby would allow you to handle games for a good while). so it's really up to you. a cpu for the lga775 socket would be like $200~ for a decent one and that would probably be as 3/4 as efficient as an i3-2100.
