Okay, I didn't know about that, but that isn't the reason. Because the night this started, I could still see everyone elses spray, but only I could see mine, so I don't think that is the problem.

This just happened recently and I am unable to find anything helpful on google or by asking other's, so I am going to post here. The title pretty much explains it. I can see my spray but nobody else can. I even switched to a picture I know used to work and reconnected and still nothing. I tried changing cl_download and cl_upload and nothing. I think I read somewhere that I have to delete my config file, but I forgot how to do that or if that would even help. I think the config file is the one with the binds in it, but I don't even remember. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I found out that SLI isn't all it's said to be, so I am holding off on SLI for now and got a 850W PSU so it is still decent. You can still play the latest and greatest using one card and I think one gtx 295 only needs like 500 or 600 watts, I'm not 100% sure tho

I bought the 518 and its pretty nice, I upgraded from a 400dpi though, so I don't have much to compare with. If you scroll fast be careful of the sensitivity buttons. The 518 does fit the curvature of my hand very well and I play with palm grip the whole time. Let us know which one you got.

What a coincidince, that's the one I chose Seemed like the best deal vs the Q6600 which was 2.4 Ghz I believe. For only $20 more, (at least on negegg) you can get .43 more Ghz which seemed like a no-brainer.

Trying to choose the processor for my new gaming computer Was wondering people's opinions on Quad Core vs. Dual Core I was thinking of going with the Q9550 Yorkfield clocked at 2.83 Ghz.....

Mine is a Pentium D 805 2.66 GHz.

I realize you said you overclocked ur 8600, but I just got a HD 4670 and it only gets 71 fps on the video stress test, how are you getting 100 fps! Isn't it a better card? Were you like standing still looking at a wall?

Awww that kinds makes me sad when you think about it, that games won't require any more power, but then again, they will always be finding ways to make things faster and more efficient, just wait till we have octo core processors haha.....

How come you need to do that? It is possible, but you would lagg a lot and stuff because of the limited transfer rate of USB and Firewire ports, they aren't made for gaming.

Alright, I get to order at the end of the month I know this is kind of off topic, but if you can't overclock thru the BIOS, is clockgen a good program? Because I just went from 2.6 GHZ to 3.0 GHZ and I'm not sure if it worked, but I think it did because CPU-Z reports my processor as 3.0010 on the taskbar when I minimize it.

Lol personally I dont give a shit about looks, just how well it performs, and in the case of fans, sounds. Anyway, which cpu cooler of those would you reccommend the most? I didn't really look at all of them, but I'm hoping that the most expensive one isn't the best. If it is, whats a good runner-up thats a lot cheaper, but almost as good? Please ask if my question doesn't make any sense. Or should I just stick with the Vertical Noctua, not the horizontal one, I heard it didn't work as good. I was watching a video on it and they said it has some special oil bearing in the fan so it is quieter and lasts longer. Also the fans' fins have like bevels on them that do something to make the airflow waaay better.

I know but I figured its $3, why the fuck not? Don't wanna fuck up my first rig, lol I don't think it's that big of a deal. I told my dad the same shit about the mac and its bullshit cuz now she has 2 new comps and I'm still using this old one. He agreed with me and let me go with the i7 rig, for now im using a HD 4670 to hold me over until I can get a better card, once I get the better card, I can pass the 4670 to this computer I'm on now to help it out. I guess I can go with that $50 Master Cooler case, I just wanted the HAF cuz I heard really good things aboiut its airflow, because I am going to be overclocking, and I can't afford liquid cooling, so I wanted the best air rig possible. How far do you think overclocking that i7 would be safe? I wanted to go at least like 3.25GHz...4 GHz would be my goal obviously lol. Will the Noctua fit in the mid tower?
