You don't even mention what GPU is in the $199 computer... :/ That is a very important piece to know. But you should be able to steal the RAM from your old box if you get the new one, as long as they are the same type and speed.

You're pretty much asking for the impossible. As far as I can tell, you have three choices: 1) Get a nice high quality video with a huge file, and compress it into a smaller file later. 2) A low quality video with an initially small filesize. 3) Spend a ton of money on a professional hardware recorder. Solutions (corresponding to the choices): 1) You have a modern computer. Use FRAPS. Will drop the FPS a bit, but it's really no huge hit unless your computer is very old. After you're done recording, compress it. Video into H264 @ $whatever_FPS_you_had_FRAPS_record_at (I lock FRAPS at 60 FPS, so I will encode the video at 60 FPS as well). AAC @ 44100 HZ, 320 kbps bitrate, dual-channel. This will get the filesize down a lot, without much noticeable quality loss. (Usually a 5 minute video at these settings can go down to ~120 MB filesize, from the raw FRAPS size of about 15 GBs). 2) Your computer is older, you don't mind noticeable quality loss, AND/OR you do not want to mess with encoding the video. I have no idea, I would never chose this. Ask someone else. 3) Buy a professional external hardware screen recorder. One that would plug directly into your HDMI/VGA/DVI port, and record the raw streams. Now you're still going to get huge files, but much less of an FPS drop than FRAPS would (as it would not be using your computer's power to record it). I don't know if there are anything like this that would be sold pre-made to the end user, as it would be insanely expensive compared to getting a better computer. So yeah... those are the only three choices I know of. Now, you must chose what would work out best for your screen recording given the options and solutions.

I tried it and it wasn't my favorite. It would always use a lot of my bandwidth even when I wasn't uploading any files :/ Maybe I was just doing it wrong lol.

Proud #FFFFFF on #000000 terminal user here. I agree with Astrum 100%. The reason why I like darker themes is because it doesn't rape your eyes. It is a bit less welcoming, true... but with the quality being is much more pleasing on the eyes. I do dislike using them because all the skiddys use it... but I can deal with that, rather than having my corneas get raped.

The new userbars are pretty awesome. Only thing I personally would change would to have them be different colors between the different ranks... so it's just easier to tell the difference. Reading is hard :X

VAC just has delayed bans. Also, people who bypass scriptenforcer in TTT would be using stuff modifying the actual gamefiles via dlls or otherwise. Go on, prove me wrong - feel free to email me a working scriptenforcer bypass that is in pure Lua. I bet you can not find one, because the game doesn't allow for it to work like that. I have chatted with many Lua pros and they all know that it is impossible to bypass SE with _PURE_ LUA. I know.

Gmod is pretty much pure LUA.... you should not be able to use custom game-changing scripts unless people bypass scriptenforcer. If they bypass, they get banned

Move to a country that doesn't have any bandwidth limits. Though the more sane option would be to change ISPs to one that doesn't have a bandwidth limit. Really though, YouTube will destroy your bandwidth. No way around it. You could try setting to the lowest quality, but it will use a ton still. :/
