@Vy Okay first of all, I love the little jab you take at America there. Nevermind the fact that the guy is from fucking England. Regardless, it still applies. It's amazing to me how ignorant you are acting based on that giant ass post. To make things easier, I'm just going to quote your post and respond to shit in red:

True, you probably don't need to know every detail about certain things, but the main thing is that history not only influences our everyday lives, but it teaches us not to repeat some mistakes. Cough cough, WW2/Holocaust. To play devil's advocate, most schools do offer things such as child care, and tax classes. But, the issue you run into is that most schools only have like 7-8 class periods. You then run into shit like having to take the 4 core subjects, so now you have 3-4 slots. Then you have to take X class and Y class, leaving you with very little chances to take the classes you want. Really the biggest issue with school, is you are forced to take all these classes, and very rarely do you even learn. Schooling is so focused on testing and having kids memorize things. For example, my school required 2 years of a foreign language (and only offered Spanish). I ended up taking 3 years and all I learned was very basic spanish words, how to count to 15, and that there was a love triangle among the cheerleaders.

The theory behind having people schedule their own matches was I thought people would take more incentive to get things done. Rather than limiting the tournament to one set day, I thought we would get more people playing, and things would be going faster than they are now. Tomorrow marks 2 weeks since I started the tournament. Can not honestly say I'm not a tad bit disappointed that people haven't played more matches yet. A full match will take maybe 30 minutes to play. That being said, scheduling a set date to play more matches is something I have been thinking of lately. I'm still not sure how exactly to go about that, but another thread specifically for that with a poll is one option. I'm also going to start talking more to each matchup group and start trying to get a set date ASAP from each of them. I have been occasionally messaging or tagging them, but it's growing apparent that I will have to be more forceful so to speak. If it is any consultation, I've already taken a few mental notes on how to better handle any future events like this. Such as getting a list from each player on what time zone they live in, and what days are best for them to play. Then taking that info, and tailoring teams and match-ups as best and fairly as possible.

Zaraki told me he's dropping out of the tournament. So that means @Elemental will be taking his place. Elemental @Wawa and @Repus @BloodyKiller you still have 2 more games to play.

If possible, I would like the remaining winners bracket, round one matches to be finished before Tuesday night. If not, I will likely start contacting those that have not played, and see if we can get a time set in stone really soon, or discuss flipping a coin so to speak. Another alternative would be 1v1 if possible. Be sure to check the bracket btw. If you have a match setup for round 2, you can play those as soon as possible. You don't have to wait.

@Revenga this thread reminded me, could we maybe get a sticky somewhere explaining the whole picture thing to people and maybe make that thread a place to request domains to be white listed? Don't know if y'all would rather a new thread be made, or bump and sticky the original thread somewhere else.
