  1. I would say its fair, other people might say its an "unreasonable order" which are against the rules but to me this is completely reasonable. If a ct can tell the entire t team to crouch walk no jumping to someplace, and I would say telling them all to jump once is fine. Now if you told them to continuously jump for the whole round then that would be unreasonable Maybe @Dominic @All Ts or @DML could give more clarification
  2. So far the problem hasnt occurred again. I'm more just concerned if it will happen again and what even caused it in the first place. I don't have any software controlling the fans, I'm letting the mobo handle it. I want to avoid plugging the fan into the other cpu fan header just because ocd reasons, makes me feel uncomfortable not gonna lie lol. But if the problem persists then i wont have any other choice. I upgraded from i5 4690k with stock cooler, Z97M plus, 8 gb of ddr3 ram, and i threw in an extra ssd
  3. thermal paste seems fine, i put on a little bit over a rice grain size of arctic silver 5
  4. So I recently upgraded my PC and I ran into a really strange problem just now. I left my computer on before I went out to dinner today and when I came back my CPU fan was just off. At first I didn't realise it until it started to get a bit warm in my room and my computer was lagging, well thermal throttling is more like it. I turned off the computer and turned it back on (like the dell customer service tells me to do) and the fan still doesn't run. So i plug in the fan into the other CPU fan header and it works fine. I then replug the fan back to the original main cpu fan header and it works fine as well???? I thought I had shorted a circuit or something but it seems I was wrong. I checked the BIOS and everything, the CPU fan should never turn off with my settings if anything it should only go to a lower RPM. This didn't happen the last few days I've been running the computer, so I'm really confused as to what caused this. Anyone have an ideas? Specs: CPU: i5 8600k Motherboard: Aorus Gaming 5 Z370 GPU: GTX 960 RAM: 16GB TridentZ RGB Cooler: Hyper 212X
  5. not gonna lie, only skimmed through the list xd didnt really pay attention to it. 1080 tv 10/10
  6. regarding the RAM comment, the recommended amount of RAM goes up over the years. just as how you didnt even need 2 or 4 gb in the past, it has evolved to 8 gb minimal for gaming. and now its becoming minimal to have 16gb. him getting 16gb is a very good futureproof investment, in a year or two i can almost guarantee that he will have to upgrade to 16 if he only gets 8 now Also get some 1080p monitors nate smh come on its 2018
  7. logitech G933 these things are a beauty, mics kind of dick but what can you expect from a wireless headphone mic
  8. theres also /subtickets (shows how many tickets u have in sub raffle) /viptickets (shows how many tickets u have in vip raffle) /flashcolors (changes flash color)
  9. if you set up recurring payments it should be automatically given to you on map change, thats how it was for me. in other instances it would be handled by BD EDIT: I'll make a list of VIP commands that i know in a bit
  10. im pretty sure this is due to the map itself, on some maps they have a different way of picking up weapons, its kinda of hard to explain. Say on electric revamped, the way the weapons are set up is when u pick them up, its basically like buying the weapons. while on other maps like say foxriver(removed i believe), when u press the button it will spawn in vanilla weapons so theres no way to get a skin on them without ws. Take this concept and apply it to other maps
  11. A lot of us have been around for years. There has never been any real big problem with the LR system until now. And the ones complaining about it don't understand the concept of LR in the first place. An LR is a LAST request. Not a "hey i want to play this minigame with you and the rest of the ct team because its fun and delay the round even further". The way it was before this rule was put in place, they do an LR, once it was complete, they can die. That's how it should be after all they made a LAST request. Don't get me wrong I love LRing, no scope battles are fun as shit, and if I'm given the opportunity to continue then I will. But i would never whine if i wasnt allowed to continue because my LR was COMPLETE. The point of prison break is to kill all the CTs and "break out" of prison. Not survive for as long as I can, delay the round, do an lr, and delay the round even more. Sure you can argue "but hey Raventi theyre killing CTs while doing the LR". Yeah sure youre right but theres also the other side of prison break, the CT side. The CTs job is to make sure the Ts are doing what theyre doing, keeping them in check. Like All Ts said, this rule makes it even harder for the CTs to do that. Theres really no positive side of things in this rule other than catering to people who whine about dying for being forced to do a last request. You want to do minigames? Go to our minigame server have fun. Oh yeah All Ts isnt admin anymore in case you havent noticed
  12. usp in ttt

thats why you gotta be the one to rush to those usps every round boyo
  13. A reason why people would want you to lower your karma is so that you LOWER your karma. After all this is a karma RACE, they want to be at the top at all costs. If you don't want to lose karma, then don't kill T baiters. It's much easier to die as an inno by a traitor and then just fuckin go ham while you're a traitor to gain karma, than to kill an inno as an inno who's T-baiting and lose karma. If they do turn out to be a traitor then wow you got a little bit of karma for killing ONE traitor. While if you become a traitor, you can literally just massacre everybody and rack up karma that way. Being an inno, you are bound to lose karma anyway because of rdmers and you killing those rdmers because you think they are a T. Better to cut your losses and just let T-baiters bait.
  14. Basically what DML said. For future reference basically any invisible button is technically a secret and can be killed for (they're invisible for a reason). I can't think of any invisible buttons right now that wouldn't be considered KOS. Now in summer jail, do be careful, you have to physically see them knife it and open it with your own eyes. Someone else can still SHOOT the button from far away when a T is near the door, making it look like the T near the door opened it. If you kill them for it, that is technically a freekill. Just like in TTT don't make assumptions. I personally would only kill if you are outside the door and see them knife it to open it. If you were inside the room where the door leads to, I would refrain from killing unless you are 100% they opened it.
  15. aha thank you my loves

  18. Uhhh can someone tell me how reserved slot works now? I know in CSS days you would just try to connect and it would kick someone out (big oofs). I just tried joining TTT and it didn't let me.
  19. Actually you might not have to buy a new copy of windows. As long as you currently have a legit copy of windows right now, u can download the windows installer on their website and just use an old product key. It should still work. If you don't remember your product key or lost it you can easily find out through a little .vbs file that i have saved on my computer

  21. UserBenchmark is very helpful in these cases. Now do note that this wont be the same in all cases. Here's a benchmark for i7 7700k vs i7 6700k http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7700K-vs-Intel-Core-i7-6700K/3647vs3502 I personally would go for something that's in the newest generation which is Coffee Lake. According to UserBenchmark an i5 8600k is better than an i7 7700k and its a bit cheaper as seen here http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7700K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-8600K/3647vs3941 Also just letting you know, if you get a new motherboard, more often than not, you will have to do a fresh reinstall of windows, because drivers are set to whatever motherboard you download on. If you don't do a fresh reinstall then it'll be a driver nightmare. Sometimes you'll get extremely lucky and nothing will go wrong if the motherboards are really similar. So assuming the 7700k would work in your current motherboard then go for that
