  1. Skybox is broken as hell. Rejected.
  2. Map is a long download, and it's not that great of a map. The poker game that people play can bug out, causing nobody to get it or out of the room, dragging the round out. There's ways to counter that, but because of it I'm not adding casino back on.
  3. The map was removed because it wasn't popular and it was a huge download, taking people forever to join. Like when the rounds are literally half way completed before a person joins, it's not worth keeping it on. Since this is a hotfix however, maybe I'll keep it on for a little bit unless I hear people complain.
  4. Here: Dedicated server with 15 unique IPs. Web host x 2 Tcadmin Vent Miscellaneous items such as sponsors, advertising, projects, raffles Twitch/Justin.tv stream (which isn't really used so meh) Minecraft when it's been necessary
  5. Shit son, I can't say anything without everyone throwing money at me ;O. Just so you know... The donation goal of 300 is actually considerably lower than what I pay out, but it wasn't always as much as this (When we used to use Amit's webhost for fastdl and forums etc). The actual amount is closer to $400, but for security reasons I'm not gona go listing what we pay for. Normally the donation goal was kept lower because we always made over the goal anyway, and the extra I have is more than enough to cover for a while. I do in fact have funds that could cover the license but I saw no reason to invest in it. I wasn't sure if it was going to be wasted money, and whether it was going to go to Ryan, the guy that now owns this place (not Amit) but he never shows his face here. I only know him through Amit and through emails. This thread is a nice way to see people are still willing to donate should the occasion arise for it, but I agree that the donations should be self motivated and not because we asked. We owe that to the playerbase.
  6. Nobody noticed the censored part. Today was a good day.
  7. Jake, I... uh.. em.... I think that... you are a good person. Yep.
  8. I'll just change it to the csgo server if I can.
  9. Where's my invite? Pass It Faggot.
  10. CS:GO Server

I stuck sourcemod on for the admin. RTV and nominate can be used, and I took a lot of the maps off the rotation. It only has dust, dust 2, nuke and inferno now. In honesty I don't think train is that good, and the cs maps needed removing. Aztec and militia are bollocks. I added gameme too. If any other de_ maps need added let me know.
  11. CS:GO Server

So what do we want, classic casual? Competitive? Dust 2 only? Rotation?
  12. I say things like "Why do people always knife me first ffs" which is obviously not the same as "Why is this shitty 1 knife still on here".
  13. The server is vanilla. I've made a pain station and an AK47 (with rearm capabilities), both weren't too good with the server. The pain station was alright but it wasn't really needed. The AK was just overpowered as hell (even with trying to balance that shit). This is just another unnecessary addition to a server that is supposed to vanilla at heart. Yes the 1 hit knife isn't 'default' but it was always 1 knife before an update BKU made to change it 2 hits after a bunch of noobs complained about it. That, and the health station is 25hp per hit rather than over time.
  14. Raging.
  15. Was your first action as a CE really to edit my post saying that I smell? Son, I don't think anyone here has had the balls to edit a post of mine since God knows when. You know why? Because any smart person would know that doing so would result in a shit storm so large that your ass annihilation would be seen from the Voyager 1 as a landmark of the Earth. You are going to be in such big trouble that you will regret the very moment your fingers ever pressed the keys that ascertain to the very thought of congregating those words to form that particular sentence in a way that agitates and instigates a reaction from your president. You are fucked from here on out with your time as a CE. I will never rest. I will never stop. I will hunt you down every turn you take in your dealings with complaints and the like. You make one mistake my friend, you're finished. Good day. User Nishok was banned for editing this post.
  16. He's also a massive fgt. Also I, Spartan, smell.
  17. Contest

29 Medal of Honor Edit: Change mine to Crysis 2.
  18. As Bom would say... "Put me in coach"
  19. Yep people just fall to their death more than anything.
  20. Why am I looking at this? o:

  21. We've tried using donated servers, and it's unlikely to be accepted for these reasons: - Most servers that are paid for by another person and not SG have a 'risk' attached to them. IE, you stop the payment and we are forced to pay for the remaining time or let it go. You decide to ban everyone for fun and we are left with the bad reputation, etc. - Most gifted servers are gifted because the user wants that server to get players. The server essentially piggybacks off of SG to gain a userbase. If the server fails however, it's just another empty server with the SG tag on. It is also unlikely the server owner wants the server changed to something else, as they bought it with the intention of it being the mod they wanted originally. - Because another user has paid for the service, they feel they are obligated to have rcon access and access to the server, to administrate and modify it in any way they deem fit, and give input to future decisions towards the server. This is not an entirely bad thing, but it lacks security and biases members to their own server, making it unfair and a rather unnecessary venture. - Most SG servers are ran through the same dedicated box with the exception of Minecraft and Arma. Any servers outside this are to be paid for by SG still, or under a trusted member. Because they are outside of SG's wallet and 'domain', we essentially have little control over it. - Single servers are normally ran through different methods. We prefer to use a dedicated server or a VDS. Servers that are rented are likely to be managed (the GSP has access and not the client themselves) or access requires more effort. This is just inefficient and again, unnecessary. Minecraft is ran by Nishok and you may wonder how that is sort of independant with supporters, admins, and money. Truth is the Minecraft server was funded by me (I don't know how much money Nishok has left towards that) and the way admining and supporter systems work on there is completely different to the source engine obviously. That is why it is managed differently and separately (since it also takes up a lot of RAM). The Arma 3 server is owned by Dimitry, and he currently pays for it. Due to the nature of the mod being in beta, he has access to it and I don't know who else. I allowed him to use SG advertisement if he wished for it to be an SG server. If it's violating SG rules or doing something suspicious, the server will get removed from SG officially. Hope this helps.
