In all seriousness they're probably gonna slim the map rotation down a bit for summer and another, new Minecraft map is probably counter-productive with that in mind. I'm going to test this regardless for the foreseeable future, will edit post.

I'd probably want to mute dead chat every single round, there is gonna be SO much bitching about freekilling & about tiny fucking things that do not matter at all. TTT has that exact same problem except I'd say the majority of the time it isn't too awful but the difference being that TTT is full of some sensitive ass people and PB is full of little kids who love to scream & get angry. Not necessarily against it, but I think it could end in a lot of shit talking about who killed who for what reasons and might make an admins job a bit harder.

If it's not in the rules, it's not a rule. Not to mention it makes no sense to be a rule in the first place, if someone can narrow it down & not rdm then god bless- kill the person. Admins shouldn't be enforcing shit that's not in the rules, or it ends in situations exactly like this.

I didn't say it wasn't going to get fixed, I said it's completely irrelevant as the new plugin is a NEW PLUGIN. It's a complete rewrite so ofcourse it's not going to have all the same bugs & problems.

My point wasn't that Discord can't do those things. My point was that there are tons of addons/plugins for TeamSpeak, where as whatever Discord comes with that's pretty much what you get. Even if we didn't have a reason to use any of those addons, the ability to use addons allows for much more versatility.

@Halo was just responding individually to your points, not reiterating what you were saying. This thread is not going to get locked for people giving their opinions nor disagreeing with your points. A lot of the things you've mentioned have nothing to do with the new plugin or are as result of errors. Console errors, Killing off of sound, The Red Circles, and Hit Reg all have nothing to do with the new plugin as it's being completely rewritten by the TA's and KOSing off of sound is just completely off-topic. With that being said... I'm not against better logs that show previous rounds but admins will never act just off of logs so it really doesn't solve any big problems. The idea of adding invisible walls in traitor room doors is both impractical and not a good idea as if a Traitor opens the door it's completely fair that if an Innocent kills him that he'd be rewarded by getting inside. We already don't allow players to team so it's not practical to go through each map whether in Source SDK or by making a plugin & individually sectioning off areas.

Music bots, Anti-spam, AFK auto-kicks, Commands that let you visit last channel via. a bind, mass moving clients, and so.. so much more. I've seen some seriously cool shit done with TeamSpeak.

The base plugin has about 33 LR's, which were almost all removed due to bugs, but checking none of them were Headshot Only & none of the extensions out there are for it either. Would have to be created and doesn't seem worth it.

TeamSpeak gives us control, Discord does not. Everything from having an a physical server, to being able to utilize addons, extremely in depth permissions, and also TeamSpeak tends to be much better for a gaming community that has players from all around the world. If SG was a small friend group I may support it but honestly it would become a problem that some of our players would receive terrible latency and all it'd end up doing is splitting up the community. I will say if Discord increases in popularity for the coming year we should probably be willing & able to consider switching as I'm starting to notice more and more people using Discord for it's simplicity while TeamSpeak can be really intimidating to young kids & idiots a like.

This is an awful idea and this will never happen. People are punished/discouraged from breaking rules and something like this is literally institutionalized corruption.
