If you want a laptop get yourself $1800 Desktop build which will still be insanely good for that amount and buy a 15" XPS with the other $1000 you can get a laptop that will play most source games decently and a quite good laptop I think... 3G's in a laptop that you will replace in 2 years is sickening ...then again some dont work for their money..so if you can go right ahead!

So I have an HP photosmart C7180...there are a few ways to connect this printer to your comp! USB, Ethernet, 802.11 (wifi) or bluetooth... I decided to go with Ethernet to my router because it would for one save me a USB port which I need and second allows me to print with my netbook from anywhere in the house.. Now I have a major issue with that set up, I CANNOT scan any documents so my question is, is there anyway to scan through an ethernet cable??? Iv been trying for hours and it always comes back to a weir communication error message..I tried to goggle it with no success so I come to you SG friend to see if anybody has encountered this issue or if it is even possible... I was able to PRINT through the ethernet cable.. It does scan through the USB cable I tried successfully.. Im about to cry
