Our Admin System.

For a while you guys have been begging us to get our admin program back together. We have been tuning a program that combines elements of several of our prior programs and will still continue to fine tune it, but we are ready to announce it.

 

 

SG Admin system

 

1. Our admin system will be application based with a filed form posted in our forums.

 

2. Your application will be voted on by our admin staff, including server admins, retired staff and Administrative Officers. With the Board of Directors retaining a final say on applications. Our admin staff has already been made aware of what is expected of them in the process, and they are in agreement.

 

3. The admins will be forced to give a (legitimate) reason for their votes or the vote will not be counted, with an abstain option for members not known or still too new to decide.

And It will require over 75% support to pass. In addition to this, if an overwhelming amount of votes are towards Accept but there are still a majority of Abstain, you will still be considered for admin. Please note though we cannot allow too many admins through at once.

 

4. We are holding to the requirement of at least 60 days and a member rank, but we are not requiring a minimum post count. We do however expect members to provide some quality over quantity.

 

5. If you are turned down for admin, you will be given 3 chances to reapply. 1 month, 3 month, and 6+months after each turn down. We (Steamgamers) reserve the right to turn you down for any other length, but you get the idea. If you are constantly getting reapply for admin apps, understand what you need to improve on and stick to it. You will not get admin when there are doubts!

 

6. If you are campaigning for admin, if you are begging, or trying to influence the votes of our admins, you will not get it.

 

7. If you were a previous SteamGamers admin, you will most likely be accepted back into the ranks as long as you didn't lose it threw strikes or some other reason for removal. (Basically if you left for other reasons like real life srz biznezz and now want to come back)

 

We thank all of those who have supported and became admins in the past and those who seek to become now.
