  2. After lots of troubleshooting, testing, and tweaking, PropHunt is finally ready to be released ... on our MiniGames Server! PropHunt will have its own map category, just like Multigames, Deathmatch, and Course. The gamemode will only be enabled when the current map is a PropHunt map. Here is the current map list for PropHunt: cs_office cs_assault de_lake de_nipperhouse_go de_westwood This is only the beginning--more improvements will be on the way, including more whistles, more props, continued balancing, and more!     I'll see if there's a way to play around with the health values on that map. I'll report back by later tonight hopefully.
  7. Connor showed great speed, footwork, and counter-punching ability early on in the fight. His stamina was no match for Floyd though, who used his boxing skill to out-class him in the 2nd half of the fight as Connor began to slow down. Was nice to see Floyd actually throw multiple combinations for a change though, one of his more entertaining fights for sure.

  10. Yet another recent CSGO update has broke Sourcemod. @Liam Brown has been generous enough to implement temporary fixes that saved ZE, 1v1, and FFA, but the other servers will need an official fix. We'll provide more information on server updates whenever possible.

  16. Just played on them both tonight. The Polish one runs the same plugin we do. Main differences I see are: they have more props, they have more whistle sounds, and their balancing is way different. I didn't like their balancing at all, but the plethora of prop choices was impressive. The German one is very different. They use a Hide N Seek plugin that I've never seen before, not the prophunt one we use. Prop selection is limited round to round and props get special powers as the round goes on. The concept was pretty cool, but again the balancing seemed off and the gameplay wasn't smooth (example, round times were really long).
  17. ^ This. Even when plugin is disabled on non-prophunt maps, there are still lingering effects that negatively impact gameplay on MG. Only way to fix that is reboot the server, and that's obviously not a feasible solution for every time the map changes from prophunt to something different.

  19. The biggest question mark with making PropHunt a full-time server is this: does more 'heart' = more server population. An important piece of homework to do right now (either by me, you, or others) is visit those 11 other dead PropHunt servers and see how much effort was put into those servers: what maps are on their rotation, what props do they use, what plugins do they use, how is their gameplay, how is their balancing, etc. Now, if those servers just plain-suck, we can then start to see how we can differentiate our own PropHunt server to be one-of-a-kind with great balancing, props, maps, and gameplay. However, if those servers are fully decked-out and even more advanced than the PropHunt we run, then it might be a waste of time to beef up our own since the other servers are empty anyways.

I was able to make a lot important tweaks and I am very grateful for the help to make them happen!
  24. Hello Steam-Gamers! Next weekend, our MGT server will be opening for PropHunt from Friday Aug. 4th - Sunday Aug. 6th! If you don't know what PropHunt is, it's a Hide & Seek mod that pits a few seekers (CT's) against a slew of map props/objects (T's). The goal is for the seekers to find and kill all props, but if the round time expires, the props will win. Where? Server IP: 70.42.74.162:27019 When?
