  1. Rapper Tier List

I've heard of Nas as a person and know he has a lot to do with the industry, but I can't think of any songs by him off the top of my head.
  2. Rapper Tier List

I only know of Royce via Bad meet Evil. Only heard the original Bad Meets Evil song. It's hella good, I just don't remember listening to anything outside of that from him.
  3. Rapper Tier List

EDIT EDIT: After seeing this, this, this, and this logic is now relegated to D-tier. Unironically. I no longer support any of this mans music. Thank you for enlightening me @John EDIT: JUST BECAUSE I HAVE THEM IN "NEVER HEARD" DOESN'T MEAN I HAVEN'T HEARD OF THEM, IT MEANS I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING FROM THEM. I KNOW WHO NAS AND SCHOOLBOY Q ARE FFS. ALSO, I AM NO CRITIC AND THIS IS PURELY MY OPINION. On top of the tier list, I'm going to give reasoning why I rated the people in the GOAT tier. GOAT Tier, the rappers where I think they have or have had a large influence in rap or has made years worth of incredible music. - Chief Keef- Fuckers in school telling me, always in the barbershop Chief Keef ain’t bout this, Chief Keef ain’t bout that, jokes aside I think keef is probably a B-Tier rapper, but he has been very prominent with his old hits to even current day. Eminem- Eminem was extremely prominent in the 90s and early 2000s and has put out a lot of hits and great music in his days. While is recent discography is pretty lacking in quality aside from a few songs from Kamikaze, it's hard to dispute Eminem being one of the greatest rappers of all time. J Cole- Love him or hate him, J Cole puts out amazing music and numbers don't lie. It's hard to dispute someone who has had all of his studio albums and 7 of his singles go platinum being one of the greatest to do it. Kanye West- Despite him being generally viewed as an ass to the public eye, the man is a genius. Kanye West is one of the most influential faces in music over the past 15 years. Just like J Cole, all of his albums have gone platinum. He's one of the highest-selling artists of all time, has won 21 Grammys, and has the most consecutive albums debuting at number one on the Billboard 200. Not to mention, he has produced for and brought up numerous top artists. Kendrick Lamar- For me, Kendrick is probably number one in my top rap artists of all time. To me, he just has the ability to never disappoint with a song. In his Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City album, he just told a really unique story to me and the album was good song after good song. In his most recent album, DAMN., he just put out bangers and feel-good music. I can't really put words as to why I think Kendrick is so incredible, I just feel like people need to listen to understand. Here's my list: (Here's where you can make your own!)
  4. ^^ To add to this- if you see someone in-game breaking the rules and want to remain anonymous you can do !calladmin, make a post in shoutbox, or come onto TeamSpeak and poke an admin online.

  10. Who says CTs can't change their ways? Why don't the people on the forums who want better CTs be the better CTs that provide an example for others to follow and give better orders? There's nothing stopping you, in a theoretical situation where this map was added back, from giving orders that utilize the entire map. Part of my point was that with the new people on the server, there's a chance that these people would really enjoy something fresh on the server compared to the same six maps over and over. I did read the old thread and that's where I got my reasoning of why the map was removed. The point of this map would be to add variety where it's desperately needed.
  11. I'd like to see this map added back. It would either make or break the server population-wise while it was here. With a newer bunch from the summer, I think it's worth giving this map a second shot in the rotation as it was a popular map. There are plenty of minigames and death games to choose from, and with some good orders from CTs, this could be a really good addition to the map pool to add a little more variety. The major issue I remember from this map was the CTs giving the same orders every round over and over. This isn't a problem on the most common maps as they are more compact and there's less to do. With clouds, CTs should broaden their repertoire of orders and really use the map's full potential. Adding the map back really won't do any harm as if the map tanks and is generally disliked, it can be removed as if it were never even back. All I'm saying is that we should open our minds to the map and give it another chance on the server. I can understand why some people wouldn't want it back though.
  12. dragon ball, no question.
  13. :gun: lemme shoot my shot?
  14. Much like urp said, it would be useful to the handful of regs who would care enough to watch it but the overall impact wouldn't be enough to make the map more meaningful in the rotation.
  15. That's the real reason why I think it should be removed. Nobody knows the map and no one really cares to learn. I think if anything, we could add an old map back that everyone knows like blackops or clouds.
  16. Map Removal Full map name jb_peanut_v3r Type of map Jailbreak Why should we remove it Playing on this map this morning really reminded me of its existence. This map is generally never played, and if it somehow ends up being played, it will just get rtv'ed in a matter of seconds. Not to mention, in my opinion, the map is very poorly laid out and pretty difficult to navigate to those who don't know the map. After a little searching, I would provide a map request to replace this in the map pool.
  17. nice guy. bit quirky doe.

  18. Much like Chloe, I would most likely pick a dog. I'd probably go for a Shiba Inu as far as breed goes.
  19. Morroco, is that close to Hawaii? - @Greggy G
  20. Psychologically speaking, it is more effective to do a large event to raise money. People are more likely to raise money in groups than not. There are reasons for this such as: 1. Goal Proximity- If people see a goal for donations and the amount donated is closer to the goal, people are more likely to give money to whatever cause you are raising money for. 2. The Time-Ask Effect: If we set a specific date to host this event, people are more likely to tune in compared to us just asking people for money. 3. Martyrdom Effect: This is why I brought up a certain goal reached = a certain amount of money. It is proven that people are more likely to donate money when it means a separate goal is achieved. For instance: Say I live-streamed myself riding a bike and the longer I got, the more money I would donate, right? This would up the chances of more and more people donating the further I got. 4. (Less psychological here, more common sense)- The Snowball Effect / "Monkey see, monkey do"- The more people we get, the more people will join. If people see 25 people working towards a charitable cause, chances are someone is going to want to join into the cause. People gain satisfaction over giving their time and money to good causes to help.

  22. Well, part of me getting to this point was taking feedback from everyone. I would want to know who's interested, who would contribute, and any possible ideas for events and stream ideas. I would gladly do a 24-hour stream. Possibly if we got people to commit to doing speedruns, we could do a Games Done Quick type of event where we had multiple people stream on a dedicated SG stream and have people speedrun certain games. GDQ has raised millions of dollars over its history. Granted, they are a HUGE organization by now, but we all start somewhere, right? It doesn't have to be speedrunning, but if we focused the stream on one topic, I feel like it would gain traction much easier, and that loops back to why I reached out before giving a full-fledged idea.
  23. Hey, I'm going to preface this by warning you as of right now that this idea is extremely vague, will need a lot of community support, and lots of planning. I think it would be really cool if SG organized an event on the forums/ts/discord/servers that would go on for a month and would be about raising money for a charity of the community's choosing. I think this would be great for spreading positive publicity for SG and will allow us to give back to the world around us. As SG is a global community, I thought it would be cool to donate to an American and International charity. How we go about raising money for these charities is where the help of our community would be needed. Any and all ideas to add to this are helpful. Perhaps we could do events where people try to achieve a certain total score amongst everyone and every time a point goal is hit, a certain amount of money would be added to the pool of money to be donated. "Where would the money come from?"-- I understand that most of the community is teens without jobs and strapped for cash college students, but I would ask people who are willing to give money to charity to donate any amount they can. Any amount would help. Here are some charities I think would be great to give to: America: 1. Feeding America 2. The Wounded Warriors Project 3. United Way America International: 1. Malaria Consortium 2. Direct Relief 3. MAP International Also, if this does happen, I will gladly pledge $100 to the cause.
