Over half of those are servers where they think SourceTV takes up a slot. Or they are actual team scrim servers and the 11th slot is used to have subs to join then someone immediately leaves. The Pug server just doesn't need 11 slots. Your main issue is people leaving...which means there is a slot. Not hard to fill it, and you shouldn't be forcing the fat kid of the scrim to sit in spec JUST IN CASE someone decides to leave. On top of the ghosting issue already, we do not need more plugins on the server.

We have been making exceptions for consistent scrimmers. You will most likely be an exception as well, I assume caution will have no problem with it.

I should state that no one should be banned for a post. The moderator can just use their discretion as to whether or not to delete it. If one post goes unnoticed or is seen as funny in another thread, I would expect moderators to let it slide. If someone posts a picture intending to use it to derail or just give no valid input on the thread, I would expect moderators to just delete it saying "Post something constructive" or something along those lines. That is what I meant by "choosing to delete or not", and I don't say anything about banning users over it, only deleted posts.

They are allowed to scrim, just not allowed to enter a community SG scrim tournament. I fail to see the issue with this. If they wanted to play in tournaments and community events so badly, why did they do so much stupid shit to get banned? Mick and Kittens both say they didn't care when they were forum banned. This is one of the things they miss out on as result of it. Again, what other people decide to do with their tournaments does not mean there is some kind of rule that it will be allowed everywhere.

Inclined to agree with Caution. You say it's a simple matter of disallowing them from winning the prize, however if you consider skill alone, they can greatly increase a team's chances of winning. This combined with the fact they are already half-banned from the community, I don't see why we would allow them the chances of winning a community tournament or helping any team win. It is not about the game, it is about giving the community an entertaining tournament and promoting SG as a fun place to stay a part of. I would not like to see half-banned troll members enjoying something those who contribute and manage to not get banned are supposed to enjoy.

Because, as I explained in the doge thread, you more than likely put it in another thread than one specifically for it. At which point it's a useless/pointless post. Keep your spiderman pictures in this thread.

The only issue I can foresee is people posting "doge" pictures or spiderman pictures in unrelated OTF threads. Which in those cases, as Caution states in the quote below, moderators can take action to remove them from the thread/punish whoever is using them in threads they do not belong. As long as all 'doge' pictures and all Spiderman pictures stay in their own threads, I fail to see how it affects the remaining OTF threads. The second they leak out into other threads not specified for them, moderators can choose to delete/warn those posters that they are pointless/useless in any other thread than the one made specifically for them. Would be pointless and locked/deleted because it is spam. The main difference being that the lenny face is the same picture over and over again, while "doge" and spiderman pictures are of different photos with different phrases on them making them consistently entertaining to those who like them rather than simply the same picture repeated over and over.

If someone opened a thread about spiderman I would leave it open as well. Simply because I would never view the thread and never be bothered by it. There are plenty of "technically pointless" threads in OTF, hence...Off Topic Forum. Just because their humor is not your humor, doesn't mean the thread deserves to be locked.
