That can actually be counter productive. If something is stuck onto the bottom of the pan, turning the heat up on it can just cause it to burn itself further onto the bottom. I wouldn't use that on that type of pot, you'll end up scratching it (unless it's mild steel wool). If it's actual 'gunk' that you can physically feel when you rub your fingers across it, and it isn't going away after all that work - throw it away. If it's just a stain, then buy barkeeper's friend or All Clad's cleaner and try using those. Both are amazing and all I use to polish (I prefer All Clad's for cleaning cookware, but BF is a cleaner for other stuff as well).

I don’t really like Mosins. I think they’re good for what they’re made for - ‘hey Johnny here you go, shoot in that direction’ without it breaking...but they’re not good snipers, suppressing, close quarters, etc. i never really got the Mosin hype tbh, the M1’s and Mausers were just such superior weapons imo. I’d pay...maybe $300 for a mosin, but i doubt much more than that. I’d definitely rather have an SKS over a Mosin, but even then i wouldn’t pay a whole lot for an sks

It looks nice because the previous owner (for some reason) replaced the original stock. I have no idea why you would do that to a WW2 rifle, but it subsequently extremely dropped the value. Doesn’t really bother me, because I’m not going for extreme, collector-style rifles. I haven’t shot it yet, thinking this weekend. The bolt is being a pain in the dick, so i need to see if i can fix it myself or need to take it to an armorer.

There is absolutely no reason why doing Insanity or one of those other workouts that stress 'go at your own pace and rest as needed' should do that to you. That's not heavy weight lifting to the point where you should be getting sick. There is a complete difference between being exhausted vs. getting sick after intense workouts every time. You should see a doctor immediately, and not ask for advice on an internet video gaming forum when it comes to your health to this extent. I'm going to close this for liability reasons, because I think you might actually have something wrong with you that requires medical attention. Absolutely, completely, and 100% incorrect. While we tend to be relaxed, have fun, and provide a place for people to bullshit and hang out - make no mistake that this is still a business. We are able to stay open and operate because we sell things. This is why I honestly hate the term 'donate' - because it's really not a donation. While there are definitely some people who would give and expect nothing in return, that is not the case for 97% of the money received here. You (as in the general public here) are paying for a service / virtual items - you are not donating just to donate. I still have to pay fees and taxes on everything that comes in here - we are completely for profit. This ship has almost sunk several times throughout the 13 years it's been here, and each time has been because we relied on a purely donation based system - or something similar, such as providing a ton of benefits for very little. I'm not trying to take a 12 year old's lunch money, and I don't do this to get rich, by any means. I live an extremely comfortable life already, and there have been times where I have had to dip out of my own pocket to cover some expenses back when we were hurting and I was just taking over. At the end of the day, I have to look at this place ultimately like a business. I apply a three month rule usually in my head, meaning I like to have at least three months of ALL of our expenses saved up, tucked away, before even touching any type of additional things. Selling virtual items and credits is how this place stays alive. Capitalism is a savage jungle. To address your main point: no, there will probably not be a reduction in prices. While we may do it from time-to-time to reflect an event or possibly someone points out a logistical error in pricing, it is by no means a standard. You are not entitled to enjoy any of our virtual items here - I'm not saying that to be a bad person or because it brings me pleasure denying online internet video game cosmetics to teenagers...it's because it's the harsh reality. He also threatened to not donate as much because of not getting admin, which led to him subsequently being permanently barred from ever receiving admin. I don't give a shit about your money, dude.

Mandatory military service is a fucking horrible idea. There are people who absolutely should not be in the military, and forcing them to go into it doesn't make the situation better. Some people are shitbags and I personally wouldn't want to be deployed with them.

I was doing a cross country at night, and we were the only people anywhere near us - completely unrestricted vis and clear skies. We were doing full stop taxi-backs at an uncontrolled airport, so we were in the pattern for awhile. I prefer the PCL's on the highest possible step (which is weird I guess), so I always click them on max. Anyways, every time the PCL's timed out, there would be 7 clicks over the frequency to turn them back on. There was nobody else anywhere near us, as we were doing our regular blind broadcasts and didn't hear anybody else. Then we actually asked if there was anyone else out, and no answer. No lights from anywhere at all, ground or sky. Then, just to test, I clicked it on the next lowest step (five clicks). After that timed out, five more clicks were heard over the frequency. It wasn't my instructor because both of his hands were up and showing me a map. I don't particularly believe in ghosts and goblins, but that doesn't mean I want that belief tested lol. It's theoretically possible that someone was on the ground with a handheld radio...but it just makes zero sense. We went back and googled the airport, and it's actually known for being haunted. There's a restaurant on the flight line, and they report dishes going crazy, and even seeing a figure in the tower (no one has been in there since the 80's). For those who don't understand how flying works, the tldr is that I was flying a plane at night, and lights that are manually turned on were turning on by themselves, mimicing the way I had previously turned them on. I've seen some weird stuff in aviation, targets that don't make sense, things flying that I have zero idea what they are or how they're flying the manner in which they're doing it, etc. I don't really think all of this is 'paranormal', as I've held a security clearance for almost a decade and worked with a LOT of different government agencies on things that 'don't exist'. The lights, however, remains completely unexplained to me, and I have no theory as to what could have happened.
