  1. Every time someone mentions a lack of things to do, someone else mentions razor. The difference is razor is aesthetically pleasing (in comparison to most maps it's compared to) and is very well balanced. It's JB at its core. There's plenty of options for CTs to control the Ts, while still offering Ts numerous ways to rebel. Razor is only boring when CTs literally send the Ts to one area and stand there and watch them the whole round.
  2. Goku/Nimmy (Wolfee replacement) VS Repus/Bloodykiler: First game: 8-1 Second game: 5-2 Winner: Repus/Bloodykiller
  3. Goku/Nimmy (Wolfee replacement) VS Meta/Pickle: First game: 3-1 Second game: 6-1 Third game: 3-2 Winner: Goku/Nimmy (Wolfee replacement)
  4. @Metal @arottenpickle assume we're still down for later tonight? @Nimmy is my replacement since he's usually down to play whenever.
  5. "Up to the players not you"....I am the player in this situation. You and pickle's next match is against me. Which is why I said you could have PM'd me... As I said, no one had tried to get a set date and time until now. The closest thing was me asking before in this thread if you three would be able to play that coming weekend and nothing came of it. Chat box is not a reliable method of setting things up since you have no way of knowing if someone saw it considering they would have changed tabs or stepped away and people kept talking. If you can't see how your post can come across in a jackass manner, that's your problem. It's possible to "get to the point" without coming across rudely. The "play by X" is one of a few changes i have in mind for any future tournaments. Another one is adding a third member to each team while keeping it 2v2, that way it's easier to get the proper 4 on. More thought and work will be put into that when the time comes. As for forfeiting, that's what I've been mulling on with onion the past few days. When I get home tonight I'll message every remaining participant to see if they want to get a date setup ASAP or if they want to just forfeit out.
  6. Lol okay buddy. First off, Wolfee already informed me a few days back that he was dropping out. I just haven't informed anyone. I probably should have said something sooner, so I'll take the blame for that one. I have been talking to onion about how I want to go about getting this tournament wrapped up. So please back off of Wolfee's neck when you are not in the place to be doing so. Secondly, picking a date goes both ways. Neither you nor your partner (since we're apparently not mentioning names) have tried to pick a date. You've just said "I'm available after X time". No one has contacted anyone saying "hey can we do it on this day at about this time". I fully accept my share of the blame for this tournament not being done sooner. I should have put more work into having set dates or better means of getting games setup. As I already stated, this has been a huge lesson for me and will be taken into account if or when I setup another tournament. I did make it clear that participants would be responsible for setting up their own games. No one in our game has really gone out of their way to setup a set date until now, so I do not at all appreciate the way you just went about doing this. There are much better ways to word what you said without coming across as a, and to be blunt, jackass. For example, you could have easily PM'd me on here or messaged me on teamspeak. I will look into seeing who I can get that will be available at those times when I get home tonight. Regardless, I will handle it if I can't find someone. While we're at it though, when are you planning on giving away the copies of Rocket League you were going to raffle off?
  7. Tbh the only gray area I can think of would be the rule about reasonable orders. But there's really nothing unreasonable about telling a T to stop knifing. Now, that doesn't mean CTs should start telling them to stop knifing all the time just for the hell of it, for example like Xeno said there are some instances where telling them to stop knifing is very reasonable. And if you think about it, you've always been allowed to tell a T to stop knifing a vent. Out of curiosity @Hellobby what spurred this question? Assuming something happened on the server.
  8. Eh, not fond of that line of thinking. That's in a death game and shouldn't apply the same logic to regular scenarios. Regardless I agree with the rest. I see no reason why you couldn't tell a t to stop knifing, as long as you're reasonable about it. Meaning don't tell them to stop knifing with 3 mins left in the game, then shoot them with 30 secs left in the game if they knife again.
  9. Alright lets just be honest here, you recorded your video and saw souce beat you to it, but you just didn't want your hard work to go unnoticed.
  10. Watching demo and gonna upload to plays.tv to save others the time. But if it's something that can be fixed, this will probably be better off as a fix request rather than removing the map. Well the demo doesn't show how he got down there, and only shows him down once. Also plays.tv doesn't record when I'm watching demos. @souceboss said he's going to record the relevant part and upload it. Also told him to show it to an AO while he is at it so they can look at it to see if he was walling for player complaint .
  11. Lootcrate

I'd personally never buy the subscription. Just not something I'm interested in. I did buy the mass effect loot crate they released a few months ago. Was pretty content with the contents. Will likely order another special edition crate if it's something I have an interest in.
  12. As Onion said, please just use CSGO's built in demo ability. Not to mention, I would much much much much much much much (you get the point) rather look at an actual screen shot of the console then have it be in a demo. It's ridiculously easy to just hit F12 and publish through steam's built in screenshot function. Valve provided us with these beautiful tools that help us with rule breakers...why are you guys trying to over complicate it with these third party tools?
  13. Windows

Used Windows Vista (God bless), 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. 7 is by far better than vista and both versions of 8. I'm on 10 now, and have been since July. I've had no issues and everything works just fine.
  14. Getting a strange sense of deja vu reading that. Swear I recall someone saying basically the same thing before and a higher up asking them to let them know. Just throwing it out there, if you know admins might be scripting, you might want to consider PM'ing a higher up about it. It's just a ticking time bomb. Matter of fact, think it was in a ban appeal that someone pointed out some admins were scripting and think a BD asked them if they could provide proof.
  15. Rip hard drive

I merged this with your first thread. There was no reason to make a new thread for that. I'm glad to see you getting more active on the forums, but please try not to spam or make unnecessary threads/posts.
  16. This has definitely been a lessons learned type thing. I messed up by assuming people would get their matches done quicker than they've been done. If we do another RL tourny, more work will be put in to account for time zones and getting as many people to play, in as quick of a time as possible. Our match in particular has taken a few days to get setup due to the fact that I have been working a lot of nights the past week which means I get off at 11, which is when Wolfee gets off his computer. We should hopefully get it played tomorrow. I don't regret not making it a day. And I still don't plan on doing it in one day next time either. The idea of having it spread out over more than a day isn't what went wrong with this tournament. The lack of proper setup on my part is what has made it take this long. I was too focused on just randomizing the teams 100% and throwing them out there to play. Next time more thought needs to, and will be put into accounting for things such as work schedules and time zones. I have a few ideas in my mind on how I think a big rocket league tournament can go a lot smoother, and I will be working on those and talking to people about them sometime in the future.
  17. The ESRB ratings are not legally binding. They serve as guidelines. There's nothing illegal about someone underage playing a M rated game. The only reason a 16 year old couldn't buy a M rated game, is due to the vast majority of stores enforcing the ESRB ratings as store policies. Edit: Also, I assume the schools have the parents sign a waiver acknowledging that their child is playing these games. Believe overwatch is rated T, CSGO is rated M. Not sure about the others, but I assume they are also T. But regardless the ratings aren't legally binding.
  18. I'm working 3-11 EST Thursday and Friday. Off Saturday though. @arottenpickle @Metal @Wolfee how do any of those 3 times look for you?
  19. "Souce, do you have any more little kids?" - @Ahhhhhhhhhhh
  20. Wow. I'm actually off this Saturday. The tricky part is getting me to stop playing overwatch
  21. Just because I'm afraid you think this is a legitimate thing, it's not going to actually be added. Teamkilling is, and always has been, highly frowned upon and against our rules.
  22. My favorite moment from OW so far was with @Paradox (He's bastion and I'm Reinhardt) "I wish more people would look at me" *I turn to look at him and immediately we get blown up* "GOKU YOU BASTARD"
