  1. Lol? A CT being new and not knowing how to play doesn't make a map T sided. Lego and VIP are hardly T sided maps. I'd say they are pretty balanced IMO. Idiot CTs doesn't make a map unbalanced. As for this map, I only played it once or twice on the server. We didn't insta RTV it. I wasn't a fan of it though. The vents are horribly done IMO and the layout makes it very hard to rebel if given the chance. I'm not going to vote since I haven't played it a lot though.
  2. Issues running GTAV

For what it's worth, here's my part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gQTvP6 At work so can't post the screen shot like you have. But I ran it this morning which whatever default settings the game started on. Just to give you another comparison
  3. Nothing like a good ole classic rock jam
  4. I would like to clarify. 9 times out of 10 that was directed at one of my teammates getting in the way.
  5. Do...do you not listen to me when we play Mikla? Always shit talking people that dare peek my mid
  6. A quick Google search (aka Google and only bothered clicking first link) says it's a bind that allows you to change your clan tag that shows up on the scoreboard, without having to go through settings. Which means someone would be able to spam it and change their tag quickly. Least I assume that's what he's talking about, and not the kids that binded their clan name REBELLION_TM to spam in chat. But it wouldn't surprise me if this is what he's referring to. Granted I've never seen it spammed enough that it might crash a server.
  7. 2 things wrong with your response. 1) Goku is the strongest* fighter in DBZ. The only time he actually lost was against Raditz at the very beginning of the show. *- At the end of Z. Whiis and Beerus don't come into play until Super. 2) I don't really care about Dragon ball anymore. I was super into it 4 years ago when I joined the community and now I'm just kinda stuck with the name. 3/10 for effort.
  8. Fair enough. We can easily balance the teams. Just give me your steam ID and I'll ban you.
  9. Yeah but can you see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
  10. I'm at work, could you go check for m-...oh... On topic though, I'll give it a look when I get home. But think I might prefer listsbbans since its in console.
  11. Wait checkbans works instead of listsbbans? Fuck...I've been telling people about listsbbans but i sometimes have to try 2 or 3 times cuz I mess up on how to spell it right. Asked before but I'll ask again, @Revenga could you add those commands to the sticky in the admin section?
  12. From what I can gather he's suggesting that a certain tag or name color be associated with that player when he connects. Such as [Freekiller] Bob, or Bob . Which, as Sean pointed out, can't be automated as the server has no way of knowing if a kill was legitimate or not. And no one is going to want to go into sourcebans and associate a player's steamid for something like that. Too much effort when admins already know if someone with a previous ban connects or not. Regardless of the technical discussion, I don't agree with adding it anyway. Sometimes a player joins and doesn't know any better and gets banned. They then come back knowing the rules and behaves. Good example is Dominic here. I also don't like the idea of publicly shaming them they like that either. If someone is a repeat Freekiller, they will be banned. Either by admin in game, or someone can make a report.
  13. So I wasn't sure which section to make this thread in, so if someone could sticky this or put it somewhere so it can be easily seen it might help in the future. I previously made a video showing how to record teamspeak meetings in audacity, but I think this method is a lot better. It is done using Open Broadcast Software. https://obsproject.com/
  14. Before the next meeting someone remind me and I'll make a video on how to record the teamspeak meeting so that it captures the user's mic, and captures the chat. Made the video, gonna post it in a separate thread.
  15. Didn't feel like making a separate post but I can if wanted. But here is how I used to record teamspeak meetings with audacity: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/ And before anyone asks, the reason for 1100+ emails on my chrome extension is because I'm too lazy to clear out the old promo emails. My actual inbox is clear and tbh I don't ever use that extension anymore.
  16. What if you join the banned team? They've got extreme potatoes, scuba, cappn, pyro, dominos delivery etc.
  17. You got Leon. I'm happy with the trade
  18. Got my schedule. I work 7am-3pm eastern time this Saturday so I will be there.
  19. Gonna touch down on your points directly first: More proof: PMs. If you see someone make a player complaint and you have more proof, PM a higher up the proof. You can still make another complaint and a CA or higher can just merge the threads. Personal opinions: Again, PMs. Also you can check to see how many times someone has been banned through the banned tab. And I safely assume the CAs+ check that and take it into account when administering the complaint. I don't think they want opinions on the player complaints. They want proof. Less biased reports: I don't think one minor mess up such as one freekill will be enough proof to get someone banned. At least not AFAIK. Usually a pretty good amount of proof is needed when making reports. Plus we have ban appeals for this exact reason. I disagree with opening them to the public. As far as I've been here they have been closed and it has been known if you needed to add onto the complaint that you could PM a higher up. Hell, even admins aren't supposed to comment on the complaint unless they were there. So comments such as "I reported this guy a week ago and he got banned for the exact same thing" wouldn't be allowed anyway. The current system keeps complaints very short, simple and clean. Opening to the public would only encourage unnecessary posts. All of the points you brought up can be addressed through PMs.
  20. I would like to apologize to @souceboss . I misquoted him. The real quote is "I won't deny, I have watched hentai with people before." - @souceboss http://plays.tv/video/56e6f3f402f991fd0c
  21. "I'll admit..I've watched hentai with people" - @souceboss
  22. @WilliamAshe : #BlamGoku God damn it William, you had one job.
  23. At work, so I'm just gonna assume this is about the panther steps...
  24. Also just a reminder to those affected by it, but the time change is tonight. So while phones and computers should do it automatically, if you have a regular clock don't forget to set it forward an hour. Don't wanna miss the meeting tomorrow ;) I'll try to make a quick video soon about how to record sound with audacity. I do it slightly different than the few videos I saw and it's what I use to record teamspeak meetings without causing the "user in your channel is recording".
  25. @Wawa @Nuclear Onion Anyway someone could keep a record of the questions asked and the answers given and put them in a post-Q&A thread? I have to work during the Q&A and it would be nice to have a list of what was covered. Plus it would be a good way for those that missed it to read over and possibly avoid any of the same issues being asked again in the future.
