I'm aware that my sister (I need to pick a laptop for her) will accidentally unplug the ssd w/ windows and boom all the work will go to hell = mad sister. So will the 7200 rpm hdd do the job properly with windows 8.1 as it seems as the best os for that kind of laptop (fast, doesn't use a lot of resources) Note: Laptops with ssd built in usually cost way more and their components are bit worse and i can't pick sshd

Oh and the configuration: -atleast 8 gigs of ram -atleast 15.6` screen -1000 HDD built in -external SSD 128gigs on USB 3.0 (ofc also usb 3.0 ports built in *logic*) -ofc windows installed since it can't be illegal version -good gpu (nvidia because its not a gaming laptop so it will do better) and cpu -hdmi Budget is around $1200 What I've found is Sony Vaio F1532Z1E (Svf1532Z1Eb): Intel Core i7-4500U 8 GB DDR3 1600Mhz 1TB HDD 5400 rpm. 15.5` 1080p screen Nvidia GT 740M 2gb, Intel HD graphics 4400 hdmi, usb 2.0 + 3.0 but i don't know if this is a good shot and i'm still looking for a good external ssd
