  1. ze_bathroom_v2_5 : Since this is a casual map kind of, people are going to be more reckless and try to jump off tall heights so we should make it less challenging and remove falldamage. ze_halloween_house : Same thing as bathroom, casual map with a lot of high altitudes and people continously die from high jumps especially the one where you have to jump off the fan. ze_toaster (maybe?) : some pretty high jumps, although i dont see any issue with people dying from fall damage until certain parts of the map where you have to make several falls to get to a destination Forgot to add this but ze_predator_ultimate_p7 should alse have removed fall damage because spawn trims like 6 people constantly because people dont know that the helicopter has ladders

  5. edited Knockback I've noticed that zombies are able to regain their velocity almost instantly after being shot back. Say that you get headshotted by a tec9, you would move back a little bit but your velocity would reach 250 almost instantly after being shot which is a bit weird for defenders that see a zombie randomly run back to them and knife them. maybe add a slow effect to the zombies after (IDK how to really explain this but if you play on different ZE servers, you'll notice that its harder to gain speed after you're shot as a zombie)
  6. I've seen this system in two servers so far (PSE and Mapeadores). Download time shouldn't be an issue since its probably a 14 second mp3 file so it should be less than 50kb if compressed properly. TBH, I've had no issues with it blowing out anybody's mic as the AO's should be able to tone down the volume. Also, it would be pretty cool to have a starting infection countdown timer like all the other zombie modes in any FPS game. Refer to this video for an example of a countdown timer on a ZE server. also we should use the lovely models in the video that I got us permission to use

We shouldnt copy mapeadores VIP system because its basically a pay to win system and youre creating a disparity between those who play a lot/pay and those who dont play as much and not willing to play. Also those VIP perks are pretty insane with bonus hp,no fall damage, hp regenration, slightly faster movement (i think higher capped velocity/walking speed). Someone without perks who can go head to head with the people that have these perks wouldnt mind but new people would find it unfair.

  11. I mean this has really what ZE has evolved into nowadays as item usage basically changes the outcome of games if they are bad or good. TBH, we don't have that many people that play on the server regularly that are new. The trend I'm seeing rn is basically 1-2 new regulars every 2 weeks popping up. Even then, maps are won because regulars know the map well and can carry a team that doesn't know a map that well. When will we ever see a random stranger pickup ultima on mako and use it perfectly 15 seconds after the door trigger or know when its acceptable to use an early or late ultima. And when will we ever see a random picking up items in skyrim and using them perfectly such as archmage and daedric combo to prevent dragonpriest from killing the entire team. Regulars are needed to beat maps and we do see the wait for the people that play ZE all day to carry a team almost everyday now. This is just a suggestion to take the weight off of some regulars that do play a lot and are dealt with the frustration with having a clueless team.
  12. We could just make it linked to how many grenades/molotovs a player can obtain in one round. Like we can have a separate menu like !grenades where you can get a menu to obtain grenades/molotovs if you played on the server more. Say, you have a total of 50 hours on the server, you would get 1 additional grenade plus the ones you already bought at spawn. At 200 hours you would get 2 grenades to buy. And maybe cap it at 500 hours and you get 3 extra grenades plus the one at spawn. Would allow the regulars to carry a little bit harder and it should compensate for the grenades that new people don't use. Like I've probably picked up 4 grenades a round on Skyrim from people dying and it certainly benefited the team more if a person knows how to use it effectively given the knock back and slow.
  13. The best thing you can do to a laptop is changing the Hard Drive into a SSD (Solid State Drive). This should cut down onto boot up time, loading time, and overall speed of your laptop. Might have to look up a video on how to install a SSD if its possible with your laptop. and transferring your operating system from your hard drive to a new SSD.

  16. No fall damage opens a whole other world of abuse. Like I can probably cut down 5 seconds on mako pipes if there were no fall damage enabled and abuse the teleports and anyone faster would kill all of the slow players by triggering zombie teleport while some players are on the pipes. Also we are trying to make players better, giving them no fall damage would just have people stop caring if they fell off the map and focus less on playing well

  19. Probably only use would be on ZE servers when we add models and people want to see them. Also, third-person makes it more interesting on ZE if you just want something out of the ordinary. Shouldn't affect game play whatsoever since zombies arent gonna third-person a corner and awp you across the map
  20. If you hop servers like I do, you'll notice that SG has one of the highest knockbacks out of all the popular servers. As a zombie its really frustrating when all it takes is roughly 5 guys to stop a horde of 20 while it takes 10-15 people to stop a horde of 20 on other servers. High KB also creates issues when there are TP's right near the zombie spawn so someone can get stuck in some perpetual motion if they fly off after getting heads shotted get teleported and fly off again because the velocity is maintained also people like to boost zombies a lot when they panic. And, people get really lazy when it comes to defense when theres a good team of defenders and they think that they can get away with door hugging. I'm pretty sure there is a knock back plugin and the value that I estimate the knock back is around 9 and it should probably be lowered to around 6 or 7.
  21. Limited map rotation mainly because its an event and some of these maps can be finished quickly depending on how good the team is. Also, I'm assuming the VIP moves slower so any MG type maps like Gris and Rizomata are off the charts. And the goal is to defend the VIP maps like mako, wanderers, icecap will just have people bhopping to the front and leaving the VIP dead. That is unless we get a VIP with someone who can hippity hoppity hop

TFW when you cant attend and korean ninja has to lead ALSO for anyone interested I will try to take some time off my school schedule to teach people around thursday 4:00 EST on how to beat maps. If i somehow manage to stay awake after finishing my paper today. Things I will cover during this session -how to lead and explain certain situations before they happen -Optimal locations to heal -Zombie TP's and how to avoid getting trapped -Where and when to fallback also distinguishing timings -Secret Level triggers -NOT GOING TO COVER ITEM USAGE because it is very situational and you should not be taking weapon items if you have not played level 1-5 at least 4 times.

If you are grabbing heal please listen to me when I tell you to use it. as wasted or selfish heals will end up killing the entire team and setting us back *If you are new you don't need to defend like all the people that know the map. Rather stay back a safe distance and shoot. *Only trust people that know what they're doing. This may seem biased but you have to listen to those within SG-TRYHARDS XOE TRLG GES or IES as these groups have people who have beaten truth at least once. *Each round is roughly 15-20 minutes and Level 4 is roughly 25 minutes long with the truth level so try not to die Also a note to the ZE Managers @Black Rain @Vick, Is it possible to disable to stamina plugin (just for this event or maybe even all event rotation maps) R3troattack made. Because having bhoppers in the front cuts down on vital seconds that we need to beat the map and It is nearly impossible to grief as a Bhopper because of the massive defend times+(no intentional troll will ever learn to abuse a map at this skill level and size) and the NPC's that are in the front.
