This has been rejected about 10 times for the same reason. It will hurt player population.

I see the timed awards as cool and achievable for a player to get all of them, but think going overboard on them is pretty unnecessary and silly. It's not even like it's something difficult to make, its just a crazy amount of time to put into a single server and for a normal person it is completely unobtainable. I'm one of PB's most active players and I only have 1648 hours on CS:GO, a 50 day award is roughly 75% of the entire time I've spent on CS:GO. If you manage 1200 hours on our servers we should mail them a coloring book and tell them to go the fuck outside.

I think me and Freddie Mercury have some parallels.

Steam-Gamers advice and questions is about 10 times worse than Yahoo answers sometimes, but genuinely there are some people here who are worth listening to & there are also those among our community who are in dire need of advice & help. Some of the threads where people are looking for help it's absolutely the dumbest shit on the planet, but genuinely I think we should all stop discouraging people from coming to the forums for help. Sure, it's a gaming community but I think so many of you underestimate how much SG means to some people & that their support/opportunities in real-life are either terrible or their life is awful outside of SG. Maybe I'm wrong in saying this, but I feel like if not an advice section then maybe we just continue allowing people to post their questions in Off-Topic and not completely lambaste them for asking a legitimate question. We have so many people from all walks of life, military, correctional officers, nurses, so the knowledge here at SG is super plentiful and diverse. Most of the legit questions I've seen people ask get good answers, and I really encourage people to not use the "but this community is just for games" argument because I'm willing to bet that most of you at one point reached out to a friend that you met here at SG for help with something. I'm of the opinion if you're genuinely looking for people to help you TeamSpeak is always the best option as most of the people who go on there are pretty chill. Anyway, I'm not really all for the "advice" section as most of it can be stuck into Fitness, Off-Topic, Spam Central, Modding, Tech Talk etc.. but I felt this needed to be said as people were going to nail this idea to the cross.
