@Vick @Black Rain Now that we are on dedicated server could we get additional sub models for humans & zombies? Doesn't need to be a crap ton (scary download times) just have more than 1 to choose from and reason to be a Subscriber I'd even accept weeb models at this point

You have a point there, but those items / maps are contained within the theme of that map. Imagine seeing very conspicuous Hatsune Miku's running around every map (see any Possession video), where they might fit on FF Mako Reactor, not so much on say Biohazard. Regardless sounds like we should have a vote on which models we should use in the future.

On second thought, please no Halo / Anime models as they feel really out of place in a Zombie apocalypse (I hate seeing these on another server not to be named)

I'm interested because it reminds me of Modern Warfare 2 which I played like crazy. Not sure I'll buy it at full price though, gunna wait to see if it dies (multiplayer) after a month.

There aren't any exclusive skins at the moment, just the default ones... I forgot about the Pink sub skin for humans (also the Admin model) I still think we should have a VIP zombie model, though. The ones listed in the OP look good. Would love to have this - http://gamebanana.com/skins/129710

The server is silky smooth with 52 players and (usually) laggy map like Exorath. Great job guys!

Zombie Escape Halloween Marathon Event SERVER IP: 70.42.74.162:27015 When? Monday, October 31st at 6:30pm EST Details 1) The event will last approx 2-3 hours, or until players feel like stopping. 2) Random maps but must be Halloween themed (Ex. Luigi's Mansion, Halloween House, Santa Extreme levels) 3) Suggestions are welcome, if you have a map or gameplay idea let us know 4) We may make use of the VIP setting on one of the maps 5) This is NOT a tryhard event, just for fun so don't be too serious 6) I understand it's a Monday and some people won't make it, so we will do something for Saturday / Sunday as well

So I'd like to start this out by saying, recently my boss had a heart attack at work... He seems to be doing okay now but he is now at increased risk for the rest of his life (he's only in his 30s so it sucks). The situation has gotten me thinking now how fragile life is like. It only takes a split second for it to end and can happen no matter where you are or what you are doing. I think about all the people online you never see anymore, what happened to them? They could be gone now for all we know and never got the chance to say goodbye. I made this thread just in case you guys don't see me again. I really appreciate everyone's work with this community and for making it a great place to hangout. I'd also like to remind you to take life easy, don't stress yourself cause this is the only one you got. Any time you feel down just remember how lucky you are to be alive - and being alive means you always have a second chance. Thanks to everyone at Steam-Gamers for being awesome

Why not keep it as an "exclusive" event that only comes online once a month? Just choose a weekend to host it and that way it will remain "special" (imo server is great so this might keep it fresh)

Is this an MMO? Can you see other players?

I noticed two things playing yesterday: There was a bug where as a prop if you die sometimes you can't spec other players It would be really nice if some of the props were taken from the map itself rather than a set list Maybe not that important, but server is fun and if we do it again it would be nice.

If @Black Rain can share the source code I can look into adding tracers... (does not require any downloads and lag would be minor) As for the other commands, I think they would be superfluous, tracers would do the job.

People (like me) will still buy it solely for the first party titles (Mario / Zelda / Metroid) and I can see myself using this around the house... But I don't think I would carry this around with me as shown in the video. Overall I think it will do fine - the reason the Wii U failed was because of its awful name. This kind of thing happens a lot, expect it to drop back down soon if not already.

Sometimes a group of people will start knifing at the same time and it is difficult to determine who sends the zombie into humans - and then you have to prove that person is intentionally trolling (assuming they have not done so previously) On the other hand leaving this in the game keeps it fresh & entertaining on dull maps In the end I would leave it up to the players, do a vote in-game and see what they say.

I say lower / remove it entirely as most of the time its used to teamkill, intentionally or otherwise. If anything I would rather it do something like 5-10k damage instead so you can (possibly) get an insta-kill with the risk of getting infected.
