    If you are going AMD with that exact motherboard, look for an FX type CPU otherwise it won't fit.

  21. You should be fine to do that. I would recommend disconnecting your current hard drive to make sure you don't accidently wipe your data and also knowing windows it will probably screw your boot loader.

    I know man, I took a massive break to get stuff sorted in real life :) I fancied a change so I thought the best way to go around that would to stop gaming for a while! Life is perfect man, been with the other half nearly 8 months now so I can't ask for anything more :) Hows life your end? :)
