  1. Congrats!!
  2. I haven't played this version yet but it looks a lot different from the previous one. This is also a different mapper than the original so the gameplay could be drastically different. I will have to try it out.
  3. Updated the first post with the new version. Fixed both of those issues so thank you very much Newbie for pointing out the dumb errors I made.
  4. I was trying to perform some optimization so those could be from that and why I didn't notice them before. Thanks I will try to fix those tomorrow when I have some time!
  5. Map Suggestion Full map name ba_beagle_jail_v2 Type of map Prison Break Link to map download ba_beagle_jail_v2.zip Additional Information Finally finished my map. It might have some bugs in it (I know deathrun has a lot of them and I kinda got fed up with it since I don't think it's an important part anyway) so if there are any bugs let me know and I should have time to fix them tomorrow. Anyway the .zip should have everything packed in it. Feel free to drop suggestions for a next version if you have any but this map includes the following: -Medic -Iso -Roulette Pit -Library -Deathrun -Dodgeball -Nade Toss -Disco -Outside -Soccer -Pool -Showers -Theatre -LR Room -Ice Skate -And of course some other things that I am forgetting. Hopefully this runs well and it does have a few secrets here and there so be on the lookout! Enjoy! And again if there are any bugs/glitches (I know of the ones in deathrun such as the fire and the smoke not always working correctly) then let me know and I will try to get a fix out ASAP. The nade toss is something that I cannot test without two people so I have no idea how that will run as of yet. People may get lost at the beginning with where rooms are but I think it is simply laid out and after a few rounds it should be easy to remember where everything is located. UPDATE: v2 Added -Fixed the soccer door. -Fixed the LR Room error. (Both dumb mistakes on my part) Screenshots attached No
  6. I think the only difference is that you don't go down in rank. So especially as a T you become more rebellious in order to move up in rank. As for CT yeah your going to have maybe some issues but they would be the same with or without gameME.
  7. If you think that a player is breaking the rules and an admin doesn't see it or disagrees you could always make a player complaint with a demo and a screenshot of the players steam ID.
  8. Congrats everyone!! Now I can't abuse newbie :-(
  9. I am on my phone so I can't vote yes right now but please remove this. Worst map on the server and an absolute server killer.
  10. http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=53321 I found this one to be kinda funny since I was beat to the Steve appeal which I think was the funniest.
  11. Congrats everyone!
  12. I actually used to really like this map for some reason. It was always a nice little change up but I can definitely see why people didn't exactly like it. EDIT: Of course it did get kinda boring with "Freeday no VIP" every single round.
  13. He called a couple of them but yeah I do think some of them were probably fake in the end. But this is pretty awesome if they were actually legit.
  14. I would love to see VIP escape make a return. Maybe an event would be better than an entire server to itself until the ze population picks back up.
  15. Completely false. Then why even post in the thread?
  16. I would prefer Louisville and Syracuse in the title but I believe it is going to be Louisville and Michigan in the title game. Regardless hopefully Louisville comes out on top.
  17. Happy Easter!
  18. I am surprised nobody brought up the fact that a lot of times racism occurs over the mic and not through just text. So really even if you had a plugin you would only remove text racism when often it occurs through mic.
  19. So my laptop was working fine all day yesterday until I decided to take it elsewhere to study and then when I opened it back up I developed a thin blue line running through the middle of my screen. I was searching around because I have never had this happen before and came across either a video card issue or an LCD issue. When I connected my laptop to my TV with and HDMI cord the blue line didn't show up so I am stuck with the idea that this is probably an LCD issue. When I run my mouse over the line the line shows up over the mouse along with everything else. The line is more of a cyan color and seems to turn red when it is over an area of whiteness. I was wondering if anyone has potentially had this issue before and has any suggestions before I potentially have to go out and pay a lot of money for a replacement screen. I may even just go out and buy a new laptop since this one is about 3 years old and no sense in paying a ton of money for a new screen on a laptop that I was considering to upgrade in another year or so. Luckily it is very small and just more annoying than anything.
  20. Last time we had the server it was empty almost 24/7 except the occasional person trying out stuff. It'll be busy right away but I don't see people just hanging out in the server for long periods of time.
  21. You should get rid of the Winter Olympics then because a lot of countries don't have the opportunity to have snow and actually participate in those games. Not every single country has the resources to participate in every single event. Same argument can go towards Equestrian and the other events in the Olympics. Just think of gymnastics and how much money that costs to get training. You can't just go out in your backyard and become and Olympic gymnast. The athletes that participate in gymnastics are generally very young in their teenage years and I am sure they aren't poor either but I don't see anyone complaining about that. What does it matter that there are less poverty risen golfers? Every sport has those success stories where someone has risen from poverty. I would not argue that golf clearly has more participants from richer backgrounds because I think most would agree with that statement but I don't think this has any bearing on why it shouldn't be in the games. I completely disagree with training being less. With wrestling, like golf, you are most likely going to have a strength coach along with a swing coach. In wrestling you are going to have some kind of formal training expert that is going to cost money. What people don't realize is that you don't just get placed on an Olympic team you earn it. With any Olympic team you try out and the best make the squad. In order to make that team you are going to get training. Nobody is going to give a sponsorship to someone trying to make their first cut at the Olympics. In fact I would almost even argue that golf would be cheaper for the fact that you generally gain more sponsorship's in golf once you turn pro. I highly doubt the Olympic committee is gearing their sporting events toward the U.S. The Olympic committee is made up of representatives from all of the participating countries. This all goes back to the simple fact that in order to get Olympic training you need money. I am not talking about you and I going outside and either wrestling or playing a round of golf. I am referring to receiving Olympic training and the costs it takes to participate in the games.
  22. In fact a lot of schools now you have to pay to play any sports. In my local area you have to pay to play sports and each sport that you play you have to pay. Does not matter what sport it is. In fact some schools have a charge of $150 per sport to play. Again it varies by area. My area is very poor and every school has a golf team. Yeah they have to pay to play but some courses will let you play there without paying depending on the situation. Each situation differs. But my point wasn't that you pay money then go to the Olympics, my point was to get to the Olympic level you can't jump from college to the Olympics without some sort of training which will cost money. Now there are probably a select few that can but the odds of someone going straight to the Olympics without further training is rare, even if it is just to adjust your skills slightly. Take someone like LeBron James who went from high school to the NBA. The guy took a huge leap and not many have done that but even when he did make that jump I can guarantee he hired some form of training to get him prepared for the NBA. The point was that to get good enough to be at Tiger Woods level it is going to cost you money to get there. Just like with wrestling, golf has coaches as well that every player will have that will cost money. I was stating that to get at the "Tiger Woods level" of wrestling you have to produce money as well. Not to actually be a first time player. Regardless of which sport you play you can get into it cheap but it is going to cost you money. If you're a young kid any sort of sports league you are going to get into will cost you money. Same with golf. It may not be a lot but you still do have to pay. The Olympics isn't about producing people to become Olympic athletes but rather for a chance to see the nations best going against each other. I can see kids watching the Olympics and probably wanting to try a sport out but even in my past Olympic experiences I didn't really see much Wrestling televised either. The majority of the summer Olympics are track and swimming because that is what people are interested in the most. Golf is something else that the world seems to be more interested in but once again I will state that I do think wrestling should stay but I am just stating why golf should be in as well.
  23. It may make it more widespread around America but not necessarily the world. I know my area which is extremely poor has a golf team at most schools (and I really can't think of one without one) while some don't have wrestling. It really depends on the location but golf seems to be more widespread throughout the world than wrestling does. I don't have any stats to back it up but this is just my assumption. But once again I don't think wrestling should be removed but I am just stating why golf should be added. But I was more referring to him stating that you can pick up casual golf but unless you pay to play on courses and such you aren't going to reach the level of Tiger Woods. I was just stating that the same thing can be said about any sport. Without money you won't get the top training to make you an Olympic athlete.
