When I won my first hockey championship, the deciding game 7 went to overtime, then double overtime, and then triple overtime.

 

The nervousness of knowing that any shot could cost you the championship was gut wrenching and really made you feel sick on the bench.

 

Thank God I didn't have to feel disappointment because my teammate caught a break in the third overtime to seal the series up for us. Even better was we trailed the series 3-1.

 

It's funny how quickly you can go from wanting to puke you're so nervous, to pure happiness and bliss.
