@Kicks I think that its obvious that if you have to continuously struggle to explain your thoughts, then you are not doing them well. If youre going to suggest something, please just make one BIG post explaining how EVERY change would work and how it would incorporate into the EXISTING system. This is the different categories categories @--Karma-- was talking about having to add. There would have to be a JB, TTT, ZE, etc. sub-categories for admin categories already made such as SA, A, CA, AO, etc. Basically just please stop arguing about this, youve made your point on how you feel about it, this isnt an argument thread, its a suggestion, and people are just giving their opinions on the matter. There is no reason to respond to EVERY person that has an opposite view of yours. Please just let the higher ups read/review the suggestion and everybody's thoughts on the matter, and if you are going to respond to someone, could you please explain yourself more than just putting questions and making it seem as if we are dumb to not think like you. Already said this is a bad idea, but let me sum up my reasons. 1) What you stated in the quote above is that people write ABSTAIN or REAPPLY because they dont see the applicant on the servers. This is just saying, he I havent seen you ever, maybe you should try to branch out a bit more and talk to the rest of the community other than this one server. Charizard applied for admin when he had ONLY ever played ZE at the time, but went in TS and talked to people a bit. Not only was he approved as an admin, but he got all SUPPORTS, even from players that rarely played on ZE. 2)As ive said before, this would make it more difficult for people to administrate different servers. Basically they would have to apply on EVERY SERVER, and it would just cause problems if they had admin on one and not on another, causing more technical problems for the TAs to figure out, and making it just more of a hassle. 3) As Karma said, it would cause problems with the CallAdmin feature/getting an admin on a server. Someone would know that a person is an admin on the one server, and would call them on another server that they cant administrate. This is spreading our admin group too thin amongst the already small amount of admins we have right now. Yes people dont know ALL of the rules for the servers, but they have enough understanding of the basic rules, and some of the ones that are "made up" are a confusion by the whole community having different view points. 4) How would people be promoted to Senior Admin? If they apply for Admin on a specific server, they would have to know all of the server in order to get promoted to Senior Admin, or Community Advisor, or anything of that sorts since they have powers on every server. The way admin apps are set up right now is pretty fine IMO because it forces the applicants to be active in the whole community, and be involved in discussions outside of CSGO like in TS or on the forums. Edit: The specific roles of the TEAMS are so that we dont have the same kind of vertical hierarchy that we had in the past where you had to be CA to get AO and BD and so on and so forth. It makes sense to give people admin on every server, because while there are server specific rules they may not know, there are still the community wide rules that they can easily enforce such as racism and micspam. Any admin would be able to respond to these calls and know exactly what to do, and it helps when they are on when nobody else can make it. I remember a while back where I was the only admin on a 40 player ZE server, and there were calladmins coming from TTT and JB, and I was able to leave and calm down those situations real quickly and go back to monitoring ZE. It also encourages admins to go on other servers, because they have a reason to play and learn the rules of these different servers and get more involved in the community

@Abomination T Baiting is allowed, but player harassment and disrespect is against the rules. If it gets to the point where you literally cant play the game then you should make a player complaint asking for the people to be banned for player harassment. Again, it comes down to how you act, and what you are willing to do in order to make people stop. You have the option of changing your reactions, getting an admin on, or making a player complaint on the person/people

Essentially my personal suggestion to you is this. When you go on the TTT server and people try to annoy you with the T baiting and the making fun of you, just dont shoot them unless you are POSITIVE they are T and also mute anyone who is making fun of you or try to get one of us admins on to monitor the situation. Im not trying to be mean but nothing is going to change if you continue to give these people the angry little raging kid they are looking for, so it is best to act more mature in the situation and just ignore them so they eventually get bored of picking on you and move on to actually playing the game. I understand that this suggestion might make the game less fun for you to play at first because it would make you have to be a LOT more serious when playing these gamemodes, however in the long run I think it will make people respect you more and will make them pick on you less. I understand where your concern comes from people killing off of T baiting, but that is the reason for doing it. People T bait with the intention of getting killed for it to make people lose karma. If somebody T baits you, it is a killable offense and you dont have to slay for it, you just lose karma. If T baiting were to be banned on the server it would do a few things: 1) Make the server less fun to play (people wouldnt be able to mess around as much) 2) Would lower the competitive aspect of the karma system (This would make it basically off of playtime like how ZE ranking goes right now) Yes T baiting is really annoying, but it makes TTT more of a skillful game to play and puts you more on edge for the game. This is basically saying MAKE SHOOTING AGAINST THE RULES unless you are T or get shot at. It would make TTT a lot harder to admin and would pretty much ruin the game.

This has been brought up a few times before to my knowledge. There was a thread discussed here, and it basically makes the point that the refunds are just a hassle, and honestly it gives people less of a reason to play the servers if they are able to just sell whatever they want to. Kind of makes it seem like "why would i buy multiple of an item when i can just refund the one i bought and change it out whenever i feel like it." Im not 100% against a refund system, but there would definitely have to be a drawback to refunding an item, such as only getting about 20-50% of the credits back, but otherwise I dont think this will be added anywhere in the near future

Ill put this stuff on there, and charizard already suggested something of that sort to the polar event type thing. Might be cool to do more things like Dusty or Arctic, but the pokemon one would be hard seeing as there are not many pokemon related maps that we have. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I know someone had mentioned that a mapping team might be a good idea for the community. Was wondering if this was under discussion by the BDs at all, because Ive been meaning to get into mapping but havent had the motivation to do it on my own. Think it would be cool if we could present a new map for the servers fairly regularly so that the servers dont lack new map choices.

Believe they said this would be a case by case basis. Meaning if you were a good admin before you stepped down and you didnt “burn any bridges” on your way out, then they would likely give you Senior Admin right away or quicker, but if there was a problem with your being admin in the past or the way that you stepped down/left then you would have to go through being regular admin. Im not 100% sure this is right, but its what i remember from the meeting.

Before the Karma Race began, they had a MAX KARMA which i think was like 9000 karma (might be wrong), so the most karma gained in a month wouldve been impossible. As for the "monthly" karma resets, it is actually scheduled so that karma will reset once every two months. This makes it so that people dont instantly get their max karma bonus and have a reason to play on the server after they reach the highest karma level. The point of the karma race is to add more initiative to play the server and create a reason for people to want to gain karma other than just for looking good. I will admit, its kind of annoying when people play the server 24/7 and ruin people's chances of placing in the karma race, but thats what adds the competitive aspect to it.

Wouldnt the gravity thing be as simple as setting it so the gravity on that map resets to 1 at the beginning of every round. That way no matter how far you do or dont get, the gravity will remain normal

Had a good time at the event. A lot of memes and stuff in the beginning which was meant for the transition into tryhard mode, but it went smoothly after we got to sandstorm, and of course fell apart after a few rounds of rush b. Would definitely enjoy another one of these types of events in the future where its a CLIMB type style. I do have a recording of the entire event and will be editing and posting the wins of each round/map, as well as probably posting some of the funny beginning memes. Thanks for the good times @Agent Wesker. Hopefully we can get another one in about two weeks or so if you Leon feel like doing it. Thanks!!

Cant you just convert your bitcoins into paypal money somehow. That way you could technically pay with bitcoin but it would be through paypal. Just basically deposit bitxoin money onto a site and withdraw it into a paypal account, done

I know that the surf timer gator was looking to add actually had stage records and zones for each stage’s beginning platform so it might be easier than you think. Im not sure, but i feel like this would be cool, although would definitely effect times slightly since you get to reset without taking that extra second you messed up, where when you reset now, your entire time resets. Dont know what the opinion on this would be, or if itd even be possible, but id say if it does get implemented then there should be a penalty on the persons time for using it.

This has been suggested before, and I doubt the stance on it has changed ever. Older threads are here, and here. Essentially, people are banned for good reasons, and it is meant as a punishment, not a way to get more money for the community. People get unbanned by waiting out their punishment, or explaining their mistakes and changing the way they act, and are decided to be unbanned by the higher ups.

My first job was working with my dad, which im still doing now when he needs me during the school year. Esentially we just put TVs up in peoples houses, or speakers, or run cables for internet/ethernet and stuff of that sort. Its really fun to do, and I started helping him mostly during the last few summers. The pay is pretty normal, he just gives me money based on how long we worked, and honestly its really fun for me, and it pushed me to go to school for Electrical and Computer Engineering

Exactly. We are trying to beat it aka tryharding. Also we’ve completed desert fox before so i dont think thats the reason. I think its just because dust II is just a meme type map and is played alot, so we are trying to get unplayed maps played a bit more
