Hello everyone, As I'm sure a lot of you know, there is a lot of work that gets handled on the back-end of SG that the majority of you guys will never see or hear of. As former, current, and future TA's / BD's know, a lot of the work that is done goes either unnoticed or not fully-explained to the general population here at SG. Which we're fine with; it's our job to make sure this place is running as smooth as it possibly can. @Liam Brown deserves some major recognition, however. As most of you guys know, all of the subscribers have to be manually added and removed from sourcebans. The majority of subscribers get automatically added to the forums, however lump-sum donations and skin donations have to be manually added as well. Liam finished a project that we were told was originally probably not possible, and then after being told it's 'doable', it was estimated to take a ridiculous amount of time to accomplish. Enough time to where I offered to pay Liam for it. Not only did he turn the money down, but he got it done in a very expeditious manner. Liam successfully managed to integrate our VBulletin subscriber system with our Sourcebans subscriber system, which saves us (ask the BD's) a ridiculous amount of time in the long run. This means if you are a subscriber on the forums, you will be instantly added as a subscriber on the servers (assuming you set your Steam ID up on your profile correctly). And if your subscription runs out, you will be automatically removed. I appreciate all the work that is done by my staff, but this is honestly a huge step forward for us, and every one of you should be giving a huge thanks to Liam for doing this for us. We have been trying to get this done for over a year now, and we can now finally check it off the list! Thanks Liam!

IP addresses are dirt cheap and we can run multiple servers off of a single IP address, so we got an IP to host a CSS and a CSGO scrim server on. Also anyone who attends the community / CA meetings knows how much I wanted to get a CSS scrim server up again. I talked to some oldfags who would be down to scrim occasionally, so I got us another IP address to do so.

I was reading this thread and started laughing at everyone who brought up April Fool's...we really do have CSS and CSGO scrim servers and surf is scrapped LOL.
