Hey guys! Today, I found out that my friend's wife had her temporary visa application denied in Australia and may have to leave the country in 28 days if they don't pay up. They need AUD$1150 to appeal the decision and hopefully get her back on track for a permanent visa. It's really a shitty situation for both of them, as my friend fucked up his hand badly and has been treated horribly by multiple doctors and has huge medical costs as a result. This happening is just more stress on top of it. So basically I would be so grateful if anyone could help me to help them at least in a small way. Here's a link to the indiegogo campaign I've started. If you can't give any money, no worries at all! I completely understand. All I ask is that you tell your friends, maybe spread the word on social media because I would appreciate it loads. These two truly don't deserve any of this that's happening to them. I hope that this will help them financially and also to boost their spirits. They have a little boy named Corey and this is all probably weighing down on him too, which I hate to see. Since we're most likely (from what XeNo/MP said in the meeting) moving from a dedi to individual server hosting, it'll probably depend on what happens with popularity in the servers we end up keeping. Not sure of the official plan so anyone AO+ feel free to correct me if wrong but once we get on the track of having the 4 mains, the focus will likely be on those for at least a little while. If it ends up that they're really popular opening another potential server could be in the cards, but it depends on if we want to stick to moving SG towards game-specific community play rather than doing what we've done since 2007 with servers.

I think once we're 100% on what four servers gonna be the "main" ones SG is focusing on we can make a good marketing plan for them (hopefully as soon as possible). As was mentioned at the meeting the site itself will be getting ads (not really related to your question but a side point lol) as well. Also, if you/anyone has ideas for in or out-of-server recruitment/advertising ideas forward it to any member of the marketing team.

Hey everyone, the NA date for this event is TOMORROW AT 6PM EST! I work a bit late so I'll try to be there as early as I can, but Gunner and Vick will be there to basically run the event to make sure it all goes smoothly. Thanks to Pan, Dirk and Octa for helping with the server-side stuff. This time around, the maplist will be more looked after (so we have actually good-sized maps) and will make some fun rounds happen again. 39 knives vs 1 negev anyone? If you guys have suggestions for fun rounds/maps/anything else let any CE+ know!
