can we just remove csgo this entire fucking game was a massive mistake in it's entirety it didn't introduce, but it popularized and exploited one of the most atrocious business models in video games today. even free to play games like heroes of the storm allow you to unlock cosmetics just by playing the game, they don't force you to shell out $2.50 a case just for a 1/1000 chance to get something that isn't horrendously ugly. even ignoring that the entire system that csgo is based on is just abysmal. valve doesn't get that 1/2 if not more of their fanbase from CS:S doesn't give a shit about competitive, it was always about the custom gamemodes. we are about 5 years into CS:GO being released and you still have to jump through hoops and ladders just to get a simple mod to function, just for valve to come along and break literally every single plugin with a basic ass patch that takes the modders a full day to fix. i mean, there was a joke way back when that every single time garry touched gmod he managed to break all of the gamemodes, including the gamemode included in gmod, ttt. valve at the moment is basically that but 5X worse. the hilarious part is csgo literally only got any level of popularity because of skins. this game was fucking dead until skins and their crappy, broken matchmaking that is the laughing stock of even all of the other FPS, tf2 excluded, came along. literally the only reason i actively support valve nowadays is because of steam, and even i believe the GoG is better in almost every way.

Say a player is killed in TTT and is upset about it, he then proceeds to RDM the guy that killed him the following round and attempts to kill another person, however he is killed. Before any punishments could even be handed out, the player leaves the server. What should happen then?

I played 3 as a kid and absolutely loved it. Now I find it massively underwhelming Nostalgia didn't hit me this time. The story to Fallout 3 is complete and total trash, as is the way it completely butchered the lore, honestly. And the gunplay I'm sure most people would agree kinda sucks, which is why you spend 90% of the game in VATS. On the other hand, the world and exploration of Fallout 3 is easily the best part of the game, as well as the best part of ANY Bethesda game. New Vegas, on the other hand, has a legitimately great story and world/lore to it, as well as improving the gameplay by doing something as goddamn simple as adding ironsights. I can't get through FO3 at all without VATS but I tend to only use VATS on Cazadores in NV. The only real problem NV has is the starting path, but once you get out of what I call "Tutorial lane" the game opens up a great deal and gives a lot more freedom of exploration. Fallout 4 has one of the single most dogshit story with the most dogshit sidequests for a majority of the game I've ever seen, sans like 1 or 2 DLC. Not only that but they butchered the level up system almost entirely stripping away any true level of player input, where now you have a list of "Ok, do you want to be sneaky or shooty? Do you want to lockpick or hack stuff?" So on, you follow down specific paths until you get to max level where you're yet another generic bethesda jack of all trades god of mankind, except without the in-depth systems involved with it like in their other games. Even Skyrim is better than this shit. But hey, at least the gunplay and exploration is really fun, right? They should've fucking ENTIRELY removed the fallout title and made it a new series, because fuck's sake, this isn't what Fallout is supposed to be. Not including FO 1 and 2 because 3/4 of this community likely hasn't played it. I will say you should DEFINITELY play both of them, they are both amazing games. Ultimately I can still easily recommend Fallout NV to anyone who gives half a shit about the story and lore of Fallout, and can recommend FO4 if you completely ignore the Fallout connotations and just play it just as a generic mid-apocalyptic exploration/crafting game. I can't recommend Fallout 3 to anyone at all.

The problem wasn't that it was repetitive, but rather that it was FAR too easy. It's an RPG, encounters are going to have the same basic setup each time, the problem is that once you got to a certain point it was just Break armor until you could 1shot them, while stacking full inventories with healing items. Not only that, but the "New devs" are Ubisoft, a company who would be entirely content developing 3rd person action/adventure games with 500000 useless collectibles, not a company who has had years of experience developing RPGs who know how to design the systems behind them. SoT was trying to be Paper Mario, but it didn't have the enemy variety and degree of challenge that Paper Mario had, simply changing studios isn't going to fix that, Obsidian just needed more time and more communication between them and the publisher to develop the game the exact way they needed to instead of booting them out. Either that or they shouldn't have got a team that got famous for developing highly detailed worlds with a core highly focused character progression in RPG systems, and instead got some developer that was better with being told what to do and knew how to make more simplistic RPG combat systems.

The biggest fear is that SoT was by Obsidian, who is an experienced RPG developer who also has decent skills in working with comedy to help complement Trey and Matt, while the new one is by Ubisoft, who, in recent times, have obtained the comedic timing of a sloth and video game development skills of a 2nd grader. Like, seriously, Siege and somewhat WD2 are their only 2 games in recent years that weren't completely screwed up
