Would you consider being somewhat more strict concerning "this^" posts? Counting them as empty posts just like "good friend, really active, should get sa"? Or just giving some kind of notice or reminder that posts should always be sincere opinions on people, deleting posts in case it's one of those "this^". Just to know how open you are to change.

That's the key word, THEIR opinion. Not the popular, the worthless opinions. I'm not the guy who decides who posts and who doesn't. I feel them inadequate, I prefer a person not posting rather than them going full bandwagon. I never said I'm calling these opinions invalid, what I'm calling invalid is someone saying stuff they NEVER experienced, not to mention any names, but on @All Ts ' application, people were saying stuff like "you were quite something before, I heard you were an asshole, etc etc." Then again, these players were NOT on SG at that time, 3ish years ago. This is not MY decision, but this opinion would be invalid. Not because I decided so, but because this is just blatant bandwagon'ing. I don't, they're not assumptions, but seeing how they're written you can TELL this person doesn't know what they're talking about, who they're voting on. Farming 100 posts perhaps? You're right. In the end, it's the BDs who choose whether someone is an admin. However, if what you said was true, they wouldn't need the community's thoughts on people. We both went throught that Fluid, and because of the voters, we're both admins now. We vote for a reason, and what I'm arguing for is to make the voting more of a serious thing, making posting support worth something, cause at the moment, it's either a shit ton of support, a shit ton of reapplies, cause other's opinions are making people uncomfortable to post theirs, since it'd be "different" That's just How I feel reading admin apps. Don't take my words out of context, unless I made myself unclear in my previous post.

To not drop any names, you can just look at a few recents applications, Bread specified in the final comments. To add something to this point, cause I don't feel like editiing my previous comment, I'm getting SO tilted by people writing shit without expeciences with the applicant. People jumping on bandwagons to re-apply for something that happened months/years before they joined SG shouldn't be able to vote, at all. This is plain ridiculous, like people typing stuff like: "Great guy, funny, active, should get admin, but reapply cause i don't know you." I don't see the whole situation as being urgent, but I'd gladly take the change.

I think hiding other posts would be a great idea. Many just lazily write "this^" (don't feel bad, no one is to blame for that) and/or giving fake/shitty reasons to support since "the majority voted support, ima be cool too". I don't see any downsides to this. People will have to give GOOD reasons to vote, cause I don't see a quoted "this" post as valuable as the guy who wrote it all, who gave the initial feedback.

Answering for others: no it won't. Ofc it was fun and full, it's an event, but it's all temporary. We won't be able to keep such a server full, so it's a temporary server we'll have.

Didn't know SkinFreak actually got the easy views just from re-posting reddit stuff, kinda sad. However. a D2 update would be controversial if they changed it too much. It's their most balanced and popular map around.I hope they only re-texture it and just make visuals better and more optimized.

From someone who's been on Global Offensive forever, It's fucking good. They cleared up many of the map's weaknesses and reduced the amount of stupid peeking. They cleared up the mess it was and made it fantastic. I never played it before, or almost, and now I love it. props to Valve, infernew is awesome. Next map will be Dust 2, I can predict it ;)

Online jobs are not what you want to be doing. You won't acquire experience as many jobs won't take "I sat at my computer for 2 years making money" as experience for a job irl. I started working at 14 at my old school, basically being janitor during the summer. Now if you want a few tips to help you getting a job; - Stand out. If you apply somewhere, look proud of yourself, but not too much. Don't get in a store with 10 resumes, giving them one, that just shows you don't want to work THERE, but want to work ANYWHERE. - Look determined, sure of yourself. Smile to the boss, tell him how much you'd like to work for him. - Wear clean stuff. I'm the type of guy that wears jogging and metal merch, but get yourself a clean shirt and jeans, at least for the times you'll be seeing your future employer. - Don't chew gum, don't have a cellphone in your hands. - Try! Be opened to anything. You won't get the job you love at first try, it took me 2 jobs before finding the one I currently have. Tell yourself you'll be making money and getting experience for a future job. Good luck!

I'm serious. Look at Nuke. In term of optimization, it's fucking horrible. It was a good remake, but things changed too much in my opinion on Nuke. Infernew is awesome, this is only beta too, it'll get better with playtesting
