Honestly speaking, there are some valid points in this thread, but there are also things being said that are a bit of a stretch. The logos/banners being changed to the rainbow flag for this month is an unspoken way of being an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Of course there are plenty of instances of homophobic and transphobic actions done in this community. As bad as it sounds... it's the internet. There will be people who gain balls of steel and think they're funny or express their deep implicit biases against those in minority groups/people who identify outside of the majority. This is not to say what has/is happening is excusable or should happen. There is no room for hatred in this world. I am someone who identifies within the LGBTQ+ community, and just from growing up on the internet, I will still use the f-slur or use "out of date" terms without thinking. It's not something I'm proud of, and it is something I want to change, but that's not a line of thinking everyone holds. To be honest, I feel like things like transphobia and homophobia should be treated how we treat racism here. Ban it in public spaces such as open discord chats, forums, etc. If someone says it once or twice in game, just do your best to stomach the fact that someone is not that great of a person. If it continues to a point of repetitive use or if it's being used to target someone, report it. I don't think I've ever seen a report on someone for the use of these slurs before, so feel free to be the first. If you want to see the change, lead by example. I have no room to virtue signal because of the things I have said in the past (and even in the recent-ish present), but the only way to see these changes is to show the younger crowd that it's not funny or cool to use these terms anymore.

On Friday, June 4th from 3pm-6pm I will host a server and will provide information how to join when the event takes place. All you need as players is a stable internet connection. Any Rules? Do not cheat or exploit. The goal of the game is to beat out your opponents and inevitably take down other companies, but don't do it in a game-y way. This event is for fun and for causal players, don't ruin the experience for others for a quick win. Yo, I just noticed that a month ago the game OpenTTD was released on Steam! If you guys don't know what this game is, it's sort of understandable because it's a game from the late 90s/early 2000s. It's a transport tycoon and it's completely free. A literal potato could run it, and it's tons of fun to just mess around in. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1536610/OpenTTD/ Here's a link to the store page if you're interested! I highly recommend this game and at least learning the basics if you're interesting in playing with some friends. As I said, it's FREE, and hosting multiplayer for something like an event (*cough cough*) would be super easy.

I am not a huge fan of fast food but generally speaking I will make two exceptions on rare occasions: Five Guys- Little cheeseburger with lettuce with a water Popeyes- Chicken Sandwich no mayo. I put hot sauce and cheese on it at home.

(I believe this is @ThRza's banner so thanks) What is Terraria? Terraria is a single/multiplayer survival game where the objective is to collect resources and gear to defeat bosses. That is an extremely oversimplified definition, as you can find plenty of walkthroughs all over the internet and YouTube, like this one here. I recommend you take a peek at it whether you are new or returning to the game, it will be very helpful. What is Our Objective? Our objective will be to at least defeat the Wall of Flesh boss and enter into hard mode. If we get really ambitious, we can knock out some of the hard bosses, but I don't anticipate us defeating the final boss. We will be playing on Normal mode to make it more casual and fun for everyone this go around. May look into a master mode event in the future if there is interest. When and Where? I will host a dedicated server on my computer that I will keep up during the duration of the event to allow players with different schedules to play when they wish, but I encourage you guys to cooperate! I will personally try to get a large batch of players together on Friday from 3pm-7pm and Saturday from 9am?? (If I get up that early lmfaooo) to 12pm when the event ends. Any Rules? - No throwing (intentionally dying during boss battles, destroying houses/throwing away materials) - You must start with a fresh character (no end game builds) - Don't take other's gear/materials without asking. There will be public chests everyone can use (I encourage the use of them as well) - Have fun! We will also be hosting this event through our Discord in the events channel.
