  3. It's upsetting that a tournament with a prize of a forums badge gets several people cheating. Just learn to have fun without having your masculinity threatened. Disappointing.
  4. 10/19/21 - Removed two maps (caused errors for people when trying to join): surf_mesa_revoGO surf_garden_go - Disabled AFK kick until server population reaches 35 players. - Removed spectators from RTV count, and spectators can no longer !rtv. (thanks @BoTo )

    bruh just no
  7. Giving admins an award is kind of pointless, admin is relatively easy to achieve as long as you aren't totally braindead (yet they somehow let me get SM, besides the point). Being able to administrate our servers should be fulfilling enough as an admin. If you are exemplary and deserve an award, you'll get staff of the month. Alternatively (and more realistically) if you're good as an admin, you'll probably get CA if you're interested. While I think the real award for CA comes after your stint as staff is over here in the form of recognition ranks if you did well enough, if there is already an award made for CA, I don't see far too much harm in adding it. While it's not the hardest thing in the world to get CA, there is a valid argument of people getting award for Events Team, Media Team, etc and not for CA is kind of nonsensical. While we have had bad CAs, SMs, ATs, AOs, etc. it doesn't do any harm in giving them a little trinket saying "hey you got here, grats" to look back on as a cool thing. For some people having that award may make people go "lol I remember when they were (insert rank), they sucked".
  8. delayed until 8pm cause i got shit to do sorry k see u guys there... or else

me and the boys @ 3:55:32 @Englishwelcome back, sir
  10. Yeah, wow. This year has been a really interesting one. I was actually on pretty good track as far as my eating and exercise habits were concerned until I injured my knee in May. I have been back in the gym for about two weeks now, and dieting along side that. Currently I weigh 202 pounds, and my goal is 185. I hope anyone else into fitness is having good luck on their personal goals. I've definitely been doing my best to eat well and drink mainly water.
  11. 4:3 aspect ratio

It both is and is not preference. While the hitbox will technically be the same for all resolutions, there are visual advantages and disadvantages of each. In 4:3, player models will typically appear about 30px wider than in 16:9 making it visually easier to see a player, and 4:3 makes less to focus on the screen at one time. In 16:9, your FOV is "wider" so you can see more at once. Since most pros play in 4:3 there have been incidents where us viewing in 16:9 makes the pros look stupid when someone shows up in our FOV, but not theirs. 12. @Kopsta ok the joke is over you can come back now kopsta..?
  13. Yea. I brought this up a while ago, it's something we've been looking at. It's happened before and it's really a model fix issue and we just need to find someone to fix the model. It's a staple of the server (it's been around for like 5 years) and I don't feel like it's game breaking. If anything, it's still evident that they are holding a gun, because their model is in the position of holding a primary. Thank you for bringing this up.
  14. until
  15. thanks to @crazedkangaroofor the dope ass banner! Bunnyhop DJ Night Event! Come join us for some fun on the Bunnyhop server for a night of music, easy maps, and a good time. We're going to take an hour and stick on Tier 1 maps, and I'll be using a soundboard to play music in the server. I'll be taking song requests in the server, and trying to keep a good atmosphere. When and Where? We're going to be doing this on Tuesday, October 5th @ 8PM EST at our Bunnyhop server (CLICK HERE or use the IP "bhop.steam-gamers.net:27015")
  16. @LampShadedo pfp contest again
  17. Getting loopy in your old age, eh? Seems like you missed the point of the thread. The point is that we are adding the f-slur and its slight variants to the banned words list, therefore any form of usage of them is inherently banned. This isn't an admin discretion thing, it's a simple rule thing. I understand those words are part of the older culture around here, but it now technically falls against the rules because it includes a banned word. Though if I called someone an "oldfag" it's not an egregious act, it still technically breaks our rules now. I was just saying it was a way to technically use the word by just tacking on "fag" to an ordinary word.
  18. No. Using a compound word where you're clearly just tacking on the f-slur to another word is akin to using the word itself.
  19. As social change has progressed rapidly within the last few years, the f-slur has fallen into the list of big-red flag words that could really tear down someone's career or business if it was discovered that they used it, especially more recently. The f-slur, alongside with the already banned words have socially become more or less fully unacceptable to use causally, especially in terms of trying to find partnerships. Us banning this word not only allows us to be more welcoming to those who may be offended by this word, but also opens up the door for more marketing opportunities down the line such as Discord (pls) and potentially other communities. At least in my opinion, retard has not really fallen into the realm of big no-no words (yet) as many people still say it casually and without much repercussion. A lot of people I know and a lot of instances I have seen people still using "retard" and "retarded" in common conversation without much issue or problem from other people. If the day comes where this word becomes a big no-no then it is what it is, but I don't see that day coming soon. I know banning x word and not y word can create confusion, but hopefully my take can provide more insight.
  20. Yo. The server is rank 682. We need to get it below 500 by the 30th. You know what to do people. Let's get this bread
