I don't really play too much Retakes anymore, but from my prior knowledge of the servers this is the points system: +3 for a kill +3 for a T side round win +4 for a CT side round win -3 for a round loss -3 for a death Also I think that maybe if you die to players who are a lower rank than you, you lose more points than by dying to someone of the same or higher rank, but I'm not completely sure about that.

Although I can't stream, because I play on a clunky laptop, I will definitely be tuning into the stream! This is my first summer charity stream experience, but I know it'll be awesome!

please no, the pink panther model is how I win my LRs. My bad aim is compensated by my weird model.

@Kieran @Bacon I personally think this is a great idea for a possible MGT, but I still have a hard time wrapping my head around how this would really work, and whether there would be much interest to players. I can see how this might be fun, but I can also see how this might be frustrating to people who don't spend as much time playing competitive maps and therefore don't have as much "game sense" or timing awareness which made WarOwl's video seem much easier than it actually is to hunt down and kill a completely invisible player. I also don't see (as of now) how this would work with a larger player base too. The ratio of visible to invisible would have to be at least 5 to 1, but then again with multiple invisible players, it would be quite easy to overpower any amount of visible players, quite frankly. I'd like to get the managers' thoughts on this.

Hey everyone, I appreciate your feedback, and I have come to the conclusion that this will unfortunately not be an event in the near future. It seems that a lot of people agree that the game would get boring fast, and that it has issues. A major overlook on my part is that when I was setting up this idea, I tested only a private server which I was planning on using, not any official servers. When I hopped onto a server to play, it was laggy, had some issues, and some bugs as well and frankly I don't even want to see what would happen in an event like this. I hadn't really played this game in a couple of years, but it seems as though the quality of the servers has decreased significantly. I will be keeping tabs on the updates to this game however, so maybe in the future there is a possibility for this event, but then again maybe not.

Hey guys, I was thinking of doing a shellshock.ion event but I wanted to gauge the public interest on an event like this. If you could just leave your vote either Yes, Possibly, or No, that would help a lot. I am sure that some of you know what shellshock.io is, and that some of you don't, so I'll explain very quickly. shellshock.io is an online game that is similar to krunker.io. Basically, you're an egg with a gun and you run across different maps shooting and killing other eggs with guns. There are a couple different egg "classes", which include different guns. You can choose an egg with an AK-47, a sniper rifle, a shotgun, a p90, or an RPG. You can also customize your weapons with skins, and customize your egg character with different colors, hats, masks, and symbols. There are also different game modes, such as free for all, team vs. team, and capture the flag. Let me know what you think of an event like this!

I have personally never played Dota, but I've seen clips of people playing it and some of my friends play it as well. It looks kind of confusing, but I've always wanted to try it out sometime.

Oh we're talking about Chad? First of all, he would never become president. If he did somehow get president, the event would end immediately, as that defies the laws of nature.

That would defeat the purpose of the event. Assuming that the bodyguards are just the remaining CTs in Jailbreak, team damage would probably be turned off so no.

Yeah, and the thing that sucks is that just this year CollegeBoard made us pay for all of our AP Exams in the fall, making it so that we had already paid for the exams, and there's no way in hell they were going to refund everybody.

I agree with what Raymond is saying here completely. The only customizable things that I could ever see being added to Retakes were custom knives or weapon models, but then again they have been added in for other servers and have had issues in themselves. For example, the /cw plugin had to be removed from Jailbreak because it had bugs and issues that were breaking the game (RIP to the gong fu). Also, the /dz plugin also had an issue where the hammer and hands did either way too little or way too much damage. Overall, I think it would be more of a hassle to add these things in than to just leave the server as it is right now.

@Creten made a really good point about this idea, and that is that an invisible gamemode would not work with the current traitor to innocent ratio that is present inside the game right now. The current ratio is about 1:4 (one traitor to four innocents), and that would make the game way too easy for the invisible people. I'd say if this were to be a viable event or MGT, the ratio of T to innocent would definitely have to be decreased.

I watched WarOwl's video on this, and it actually looked like a really cool idea that would be fun to play. However, there are a few questions that I have about this idea. First off, how would you guys want this to be implemented, in what kind of gamemode? Would this feature be added to an existing server, such as Jailbreak or TTT, or would you rather play this in a competitive mode, as WarOwl did in his video? Also, how would this work with a larger player base? In WarOwl's video, he had only six people playing. If this was put together as an event, there would be a lot more players, how would the gamemode work with more people? Would more people be invisible, or will people have to sit out and wait for their turn? Also these are just my personal questions, I haven't discussed this with the events team at all.

There is a shop/store option for servers such as Jailbreak and TTT, but obviously not for Retakes. This is because playing on a Retakes server is supposed to simulate a situation that would occur in a competitive match. In a competitive match, there would be no tracers, no custom skins, hats, masks, pets, trails, or auras. I can definitely see why people would want them, because it gives them a chance to customize their character model and look cool, but at the same time that would also possibly deter some players from playing Retakes, as they would want a more realistic experience to a competitive match. One other possible issue is that some models and other customizable features may give an advantage (if not a large advantage) to the user wearing them. There are already a lot of complaints that models such as the pink panther and Darth Vader, as well as especially the minecraft head make it hard to shoot. Adding these models to Retakes would not flow well with the style of the server.

Yeah I had that same thing but it was at the top of mine and it wasn't cool like that stone is, it was literally just a pole which spewed out air bubbles.

@Protokk I have a giant ass fish tank in my living room but it's been severely neglected as we recently got a puppy, so RIP to all the little fishes in there, although I think there's only one more living fish in there and it's surviving off of the carcasses of the less fortunate fish who died before he did.

Hey everyone, I'm going to be bumping this thread for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, I'd like to give a huge shoutout and thanks to @Rygor, who will be taking over hosting this event. Thanks! It will remain at the same time, on Saturday May 30th 6PM EST. Secondly, I'd like to ask everyone who's planning on attending the event, or even thinking about it, to please post on this thread if you have any suggestions or ideas about what quizzes or topics we should have during this event. All suggestions are appreciated, so if you have an idea, feel free to state it here. We are currently in the process of composing a list of quizzes, and the more topics that you guys choose and like, the better! You definitely want to get in on the action, because awards and prizes will be given out to the winners of each quiz!
