  2. I would recommend a GTX 1080 as your starter, then if you need more power get another and run SLI.
  3. This would still require either a timer or event to track the time of the slow.   4. Well if he is infected before the grenade explodes it won't do anything anyways. But heres a possible fix - As the grenade explodes check that its location is within 180 degrees ahead of where the player was originally facing... ?
  5. My idea would save the direction the moment the nade was thrown, so no matter where it lands or how it bounces it can't be abused unless the player is already behind the zombie. (like fail knife scenarios) Edit: I think you what you meant is if zombie random spawns in ahead of any human, however most maps teleport the zombie to spawn anyways?
  6. Well then I'm pretty much out of ideas. Only one I got left is to remove molotov's entirely - Then make the knockback nades push zombies in the direction the player looked when the grenade was thrown (at an upwards angle)

Here is the Molotov plugin: Here is the old napalm grenade plugin: And finally the grenade plugin that pushes zombies upward: The last one only processes one time, so theoretically if we change the players stamina in there and modify sv_staminarecoveryrate to a low value the plugin does very little impact...?
  8. Can we edit the grenade boost plugin to automatically apply a 5 second stamina reduction to any zombies that are boosted? One time application of stamina vs constant knockback for the duration of molotov? Edit: Or rather than stamina set player speed to half until they reach the ground again
  9. I have noticed anytime multiple players throw Molotov's into a large enough group of players the server latency goes to shit... Depending on the map being played it can happen more often but in general I think its a major issue (there can be a 5-10 second delay before server processes something). Can we possibly code our own Molotov / grenade plugin to replace this? I'm certain this could use less resources using some other method to slow the zombies.   13. If you are going for an Nvidia GPU, wait for Pascal - it should be a large improvement over what you can get right now. If the computer you have now is 8 years old, the graphics card will probably be bottlenecked... Upgrade the whole thing and don't go for prebuilt.

I try to play as much as I can - but playing the same maps gets very boring especially when it feels like Ice Cap 24/7 I suggest having more events (planned out ahead of time) to keep things interesting. Also, since admins are usually not on most of the day trolls will get kicked and only go on during those times. Player complaints are important for this reason. Add me on Steam (Agent Wesker) if you want to call me when needed.

  17. After reading a bit on the reddit page, it seems like there are some pay to win elements to the game... That alone would stop me from spending any money, as well as the $40 Canadian price tag.
  18. This is out now? It looks great but the problem is I only do PvE and I heard the content was somewhat lacking. If anyone here plays let me know how it goes.
