As John and BoM said, Ikea is great for desks. My parents use this for work/home use and say it's great and recommended it to family friends. If an IKEA isn't local to you, I suggest this, if you don't mind a corner desk. It has a space for USBs, and a hole for some wires to go through for cleaner management. If you're out of luck on IKEA and don't like corner desks, I suggest the same one that Strayyz recommended. (This one)

I can rock with that. The focus was meant to be on older maps, but we could also maybe bring up some maps that were left in the dust as kinda "meme" games like office, agency, and maybe a few others. I wasn't aware that was done a few months ago as I was gone. Thanks for that, @drippy. I'll strikethrough the ones that aren't Aztec. EDIT: With further information, I think it would be worth it to give these maps another chance as this instance was several months ago, and chances are this time around it's gonna be with a new crowd of people and go better than before.

I think it would be cool if for a week, the scrim server used only the old versions of maps, and have a throwback week. Maps that should be included: Old Dust II Old Cobble Old Train Old Inferno Old Nuke Old Vertigo and some older maps that are no longer in the map pool such as: Italy Assault Aztec Other suggested maps: Seaside Office This would be neat to see how maps have changed or laugh at how some maps were removed for good reason. I feel like this could be a good time for old and new players. Please leave feedback and tell me if I missed any maps that would be good for this!

From my own experience, most people in a smaller server will stick around for a full wipe, and then need a break for a few weeks as to not burn out on the game. Rust is a really fun game, I just don't feel the server would have much longevity or consistent population. Now, depending on the pop we would more than likely have people who were not part of the community join and potentially become active members of the community. There are ups and downs of this idea, but I think it should be given a shot on a trial run basis of a month if that was possible. It could help grow the community further, but could also flop and get pretty much no pop after the first wipe.

Something i’ve actually thinking about recently, though a minute change that wouldn’t have too much of an impact on most CTs would be implementing a rule that !fo orders must be done on mic. This allows players without mics to still play CT, but just lack the ability to give first order, which sometimes isn’t even used. I feel like this would be great for testing the waters with this concept and see how the server goers take this change. CTs without a mic can still give orders and function as a normal CT, but just can’t give first order. As someone who is a proponent of allowing CTs without microphones I think this is still fair, as !fo is meant to grab the Ts attention and set a tone for the round. This may sound a bit far fetched but rounds where !fo is a chat order tend to turn out more boring or end in about 40 seconds flat. TLDR- No !fo chat orders would be a seemingly fair testing ground for finding a balance for those who want CTs to have a mic and those who don’t care if CTs have mics. Please share your thoughts on this as I think it could genuinely have a shot of going smoothly if implemented. Also excuse any weird typos, typed this on my phone and will fix when I wake up.

This would be a unique map, not an event. It's not being rude, it's just the truth. They're not saying it's a bad idea or something that wouldn't work, it's just more of a map idea compared to an event idea. Also no offence, but this just sounds like every jailbreak map ever with custom models? If we made a map with custom models for just a limited time summer map, it would be more work invested than the reward to be reaped. IF we (modding team, probably?) made a map with unique models, it would most likely be here to stay. Overall, I think maybe the best thing here is to get another summer theme map suggested and maybe suggest a certain "camp counsellor" model for CTs and "camper" for the Ts?

How would we be able to enforce people having mics? Having an admin manually ask every CT to speak seems pretty tedious. Banning chat orders would be unreasonable as if 5 CTs were all talking over each other the only reasonable way would be to give orders via chat.

- The "can't afford" argument really isn't valid anymore. With most people playing on $600+ laptops and computers, it's not really a strong argument that someone can't afford a mic such as this for $4 from their local Walmart. - I can see both sides of the argument here. I personally think it is best to be inclusive and allow people without a mic or those who have one and don't want to use it to play CT because they can still give good orders. It comes to the fault of the Ts not being observant and ignoring chat if they get shot. There's also the issue of more mics = more people trying to give orders on the mic over each other. BUT, at the same time, there are plenty of instances where I think where if someone were to not have a mic they should be disallowed from CT. More recently (without naming names) there are people who will bind their orders to keys and just use the same ones over and over no matter the circumstance, and plenty of times where two CTs will end up unintentionally conflicting one another by one giving a mic order and the other giving a chat order. This causes confusion leading to situations including but not limited to: CTs arguing who's order is valid, Ts getting shot for following the 'wrong' order, a CT getting frustrated for being conflicted with, etc. People such as [insert name here], who have a mic and chose not to use it will knowingly use this system to their advantage and play the innocent card anytime they get called out for it. - While I think the current way we have things may need a little tweaking to lessen the confusion, I think allowing people that don't have a mic to play CT is still the best option as it will make our servers more inclusive to everyone who may come and go.

Do you think you'd be able to try and do that somehow? I am no mapper so I'm unsure of the best way to go about this, but I think that would provide a good balance to the map and open many people's minds to it.

Nothing amazing but for sure stuff I can bop to. Royce da 5'9 (??->B)- I only really listened to what he did with Em in bad meets evil and the shit is FIRE. Nas (??->B)- I don't know what shit I was on not listening to this man before. Illmatic is a good ass album. Future (D->B)- The collab album with Drake + DS2 + Releasing some okay music recently. Schoolboy Q (??->C)- I listened to his hits and he's pretty alright. He's not someone I would listen to on a consistent basis but he's certainly listenable. Amine (D->C)- The stuff he has released over the last 12 months is pretty damn solid. Might start listening to him some more. Logic (A->D)- He on some sus ass shit with his lyrics and "iM bIrAciAl"

They could also add a plugin for the event only that wouldn't allow the ratio to go too far to T's side, much like they have for CTs now. If they needed, I could probably code it myself.

Over the last week, I've been seeing heavy T-sided ratios. This wouldn't really change anything. Last few maps I was on there were ratios like 5-15, 6-20, 3-13

Hello all, today I come to you an idea that I think could revive the hype into the gang plugin on jailbreak. I think if we did a "gang war" over a two-week period in August, it would bring competition and even more population to JB. It would require a reset of the score of the gangs or a tracker that starts on the date of the event. How this would work: - People would form their gangs in-game in jailbreak ASAP in preparation. - All gangs entering would be required to have their gang formed by the start date of the event, and have one of their members post their gang name and members to the thread dealing with the event. - The top three gangs and the top player overall would get rewards based on place - As far as rewards go, it could be things like a forum award and/or credits/item from the store - Same goes for the top player, maybe a free month of sub for the top player only, if the higher-ups were willing? - If any player or team were caught exploiting or cheating the system, they and/or their team would be disqualified from the event. While scrolling through the forums looking at the changes that happened to Jailbreak during the time period I was gone (March- Mid June) I noticed there was a gangs plugin that was added and this seemed like a really brilliant idea. Has the system been removed? I didn't see anything in the changelogs about removing this and if it is still active, it's kind of disappointing that it's not utilized more. Also, if this system is still in place, I have a cool event idea I will submit. @Manny

If I am not mistaken, you can force a death game until there are a TOTAL of four Ts alive.

- French Montana has ruined multiple songs he's featured on. I don't really like his solo music either. - Gunna could make a solo tape and make it literally featuring himself. It would literally be called The Tape (ft. Gunna) He lacks individuality, copies the flows of the other rapper he is a feature on, and is really stale. - Lil Baby and DaBaby have like one big hit and no other good songs outside of that. I don't really enjoy either of their music. - X actually put out hits and as someone who doesn't really like him I can admit that I can get hype to some of his songs. - Skies's most recent album has multiple good songs. He also has a couple of good singles. - Desiigner has some fire ass beats, he's a shit rapper imo, but for instance this song aside from his lyrics is a BANGER. - Kodak also puts out hits and is actually more bearable than Lil baby, DaBaby, gunna, and french. - Again, this is all my opinion
