Yeah me and a few others including @Leon Mordecai have been talking in TS about a way to group certain servers together and if a map voted on from that group then you would have to wait an X amount of minutes before voting on another map from that group. This atm is probably what may happen though it is still under discussion since this is a plugin that would need to be added.

Never heard of it until now, but it definitely looks cool and sparks my interest since I love space.

I definitely I agree that on JB, TTT, and even MG the players usually vote for the same maps constantly, but how would we make an award for "completing/Beating a map" when its for JB, TTT, or MG. There is no mission or end goal in the maps for these servers like there is on surf and ZE. There are no maps on TTT/JB/MG for there to be a "you win" at the end of the map, the goal for these gamemodes are rather the fact that you have to try to survive and or kill the apposing team.

You missed the point of this award @Four .We are trying to bring incentive to play on the different maps that are currently available in the map pool. If you play ZE you would know that most players will always nominate and vote for the same specific maps over and over again and leave behind a lot of other maps that rarely ever get played. You stated that "while ZE no matter your playtime you always are being pushed to complete the maps." This is not true because the players are pushed to complete the specific map that they are playing at that moment which is usually the more popular and overplayed maps and not the ones people would rarely play and vote for. Im trying to get a way to get players to vote for different maps to feel a new experience and not go through gris, pirates, and surf every hour.

That would definitely cause an issue if there is a constant addition or removal of certain maps. As of right now I am not sure if there is a potential for every map to have a chance at removal so I think the best plan would be to make a list of all the maps that don't have a chance of removal and make that list as the specific maps that you need to complete when trying to get this award. Obviously I am not 100% certain how the removal or the addition of maps work for ZE so I'll tag @Black Rain @Leon Mordecai and @Paralyzed to ask if this would be an issue if these awards where to be added

I propose we should have multiple awards added in specifically for completing a certain % of the maps on ZE. This is just like how it is on our surf server where if you complete 5% of the maps you will get the 5% award for surf. Once you complete the entirety of a ZE map it gets tracked and the more maps you complete the higher the % award you can get just like on surf. I feel that this award can shed more light on how dedicated our ZE regulars truly are by letting them show of these awards to let everyone know that they are the best of the best for ZE. Not only that but it will also give people more incentive to play more different maps that we never would nominate just to try and get the map completion. If you have played ZE for more then a few days you would notice that most people would nominate the same maps over and over and over again. It would be very rare to actually get the masses to vote on a map that no one has ever heard about and no one knows the "tricks" of the map. This award can be the first step to incentivize more people to finally be courageous enough to vote on those different maps. Another thing that can increase in result to adding these awards would be the increase in ZE events where the primary objective is to play a map where most people including our ZE admin tryhards haven't even heard of and try to complete it. I know a lot of the ZE admins can agree with the point that it would be very rare to have the population in ZE to vote on a map that they have never heard about unless it was a specific admin to make a yes or no vote if they wanted to try a specific map. I truly believe that this award would bring great incentive and more fun to our ZE regulars to finally explore maps hiding behind the most common map names like gris, icecap, pirates port royale, every surf map and more. Please leave your thoughts because this really seems like a beneficial addition. Thank you

I agree and disagree in some points you had stated @SL4DE . Don't get me wrong TF2 has been my first PC game and first game that I put my heart into, over 2700 hours on tf2 to this date, I agree that having a TF2 JB SG server would be very tricky, it would be very hard to set up because the rules set for the JB server for CSGO will have to be completely different rules for TF2. You are right when it comes to the fact that most TF2 servers that stay afloat are ones with long, boring, and inescapable ads but at the same time I don't remember a lot of TF2 communities having forums set up like we have here on SG where many people donate. The only thing I disagree with what you said is that not "all" JB TF2 servers where bad, from my experience helping around my TF2 JB server back in the day was an amazing experience and brought so many people joy and I feel that while it may be tricky we have certain people In SG that can definitely help out planning how the JB server would work including myself. I am going back on my word when I had stated I wouldn't risk the chance to waste time to set up a TF2 JB SG server because now I'm just thinking of all the possibilities that can come from this. If there was ever an opportunity for SG to make a TF2 JB SG server count me in, I would love to help set any rules as I have great experience with TF2 JB. I was foolish when I had said that we shouldn't risk the chance because this shouldn't be looked at as a risk but as an opportunity to open our doors as a community to another game.

I'm so sorry for your loss shoiep... I've been in your place before, in fact it was just this January that had passed that one of my closest friends had taken his own life. I know the grief and sorrow you must be going through right now, thinking how you could have done something or how you should have know. These are all the thoughts I experience and many more just to bring myself down constantly. But through time you have to realize it didn't have to do with anything related to you knowing, these things just go past you blindly like a puff of smoke from a cigarette, you see it one second and don't pay any attention to it and when you turn back to it, it's gone and you live your life. I'm truly sorry you had to experience this awful feeling, its sad to say but its true that too many people felt what you and I have felt. We are all here for you and anyone who feels like they have no other option, because there is always another option. Stay strong shoiep

ahhhh TF2, so many memories of fun and amazing times yet, I haven't played it in over a year now and its sad to say but TF2 is just not the same fun game as it used to be. Making a TF2 server is definitely not the problem, but finding a sg tf2 mass that will join constantly will take a very long time. Like what @frosty said, TF2s population has been going down for years now and its just seems like it would be a really bad time to invest in a server that we don't know we have a chance in to maintain afloat. I used to be a staff memeber for a certain TF2 JB group (that I will not name here) about 2 years back and the group had disbanded since our regulars that would join frequently just stopped coming, even in the summer when everyone was off we would have almost empty servers. I wouldn't risk the chance to waste time on TF2.

Played this with a few people including @Wawa last night and holy shit it was so much fun filled with so many amazing moments. Honestly having a prophunt server for SG would be such a sick idea, really think it can work out well.

You're talking about struggling to get over 250 and I'm struggling to get under 250. You eat 4k calories and its hard to get to 250? Im trying to eat less then 1.500 a day and it its a pain. Going down is so much harder then up... I guarantee it :/

This would definitely be super useful but I have a question, would this be only SA+ can use when they are on the server or can every player be able to use this? Players who make player complaints would definitely use this to their advantage and wont make the mistake others and make false player complaints on accident (like I have done before once when I heard someone saying the n word but made a complaint on the wrong person) Nice plugin either way
