What does it say when you right click the speaker icon on task bar (right side near time, may need to hit arrow to expand), click 'Playback devices' and hit the 'Communications' tab. It should say 'Do Nothing' at the bottom and have a check mark or be filled in with the circle next to it. If this doesn't work, I would suggest it being for sound card having problems. I've had this similar issue before and the fix I listed above was the cause. It also replicates what you describe for me since I have it enabled on my laptop. I'm doubtful that it would be an individual issue between both programs causing the same effect. I imagine if you went on vent or skype it would give you the same problem. If needed, include a screenshot of the fix I mentioned above.

What is your operating system?

I see the reasons why it would be rejected, but doesn't feel any different than some other maps, so it should fit into the rotation.

I agree lol. I worded myself poorly there. I was trying to say that because of the usefulness of the !ma command, there is no reason why this new command shouldn't be added.

The !ma command on TTT is pretty nice. I see no reason why a similar plugin shouldn't be implemented on other servers.

It may be possible for someone to edit the map to work properly. I'm not sure if it's related to the version or not causing the problem because I've played a Surf DM version which teleported you to jail when you hit the ground. Otherwise it may be possible for Bread or someone to use cksurf admin tools to customize the zones or something (I don't have experience with what admins can do with cksurf). The map isn't a bad map, and is quite fun. I would hate for it to be removed because of something so little, but important.

I wrestled for 5 years, did varsity and junior varsity during high school. Haven't had the opportunity to go to the college level yet.

I think this would be the best way to do it, if at all. You can't go off of a person's forum activity or game time because some well deserving people are heavily active on one, but near nonexistent on another. Player nominations would allow everyone to have a fair opportunity (unless they bribe the fuck out of it.)

Sounds like it would be easier to just use a gamemode for it rather than complete custom work. IIRC there are quite a few out there, some also offer environmental risks, along with the enemy risk. Overall, if a gamemode was found and an admin was willing to do the work to run it, it would be pretty fun.

The server is really good, and it usually has a good crowd on it populating it.
