This month is truly fucked. I know how you feel since one of my best friends took his own life a few days ago. Talking to people really helps. You have my condolences.

I've been with the community since 2012. I paid $20 once after a short time for Supporter. Since then I have never donated another penny to SG until just a few weeks ago in order to subscribe to VIP. So that makes about 5 years before I donated again. Basically, it's never too late or too early to donate.

Why not go off of number of maps beaten instead of a percentage? I don't play ZE and wouldn't know but it seems to me that beating any map would be an achievement. Not sure what kind of variety ZE has for maps but the awards could be like 'Beat 15 different ZE maps', 'Beat 25 different ZE maps', 'Beat 40 different ZE maps'.

Thanks for your posts and messages. It's helped me cope. I've accepted the fact and think I can move on a bit better. If you've played a game with me or talked to me earlier today, you might have noticed that I'm just my usual self. I'm not trying to let it get to me. I'm okay. On the other hand, my other friend is not taking it as well as I am. He believes everything was his fault. He believes that he could have prevented it. The spotlight was on him and he failed to succeed in saving the one person who opened up to him and depended on him. I think that fact is effecting me more than what actually happened. He's taking the full brunt of it by taking the blame that isn't his to take. It's a big clusterfuck of worrying and I just want the feelings to stop. That being said, if you see me around on the servers or play games with me, just treat me how you normally would. I've said what I wanted to openly. I've got it off my chest here. If you want to tell me your condolences, that's fine. Post here or send me a private message. I'm down to talk. But outside of that, I just want to play and enjoy the servers without having to worry about anything else. Again, thanks for all of your kind words.

In 2008, I met this guy while playing GMod. We shared interests and quickly became friends. We never added each other to our friends list but hopped on that server every day in hopes of seeing each other online. We played together for a while and then I met another guy and became friends with him. Incidentally, the two dudes knew each other and the three of us became a very close trio of buds. We played games all day, every day after school, on the weekends, etc. The three of us became very close. The first guy. He committed suicide today. It was confirmed by his real-life friends and his family. He messaged my other friend and told him not to tell me. He left this note to my friend and went completely offline. "if shoie asks about me, tell him i'm sorry too i would have liked to write to him like i am to you to tell him something or anything but i don't want to hurt him it's easier to just vanish without saying anything i hope you guys don't think less of me for that" I don't know how to feel right now. I'm pretty numb at the fact right now but, please, if you or anyone you know has or has had any serious thoughts about suicide.. Like I said in the OP, idk if they're going to cut off my internet today or not. We officially cancelled with them but they haven't turned everything off for us yet. We've been with the ISP for 11 years. 6 of those with a 3mbps plan and 5 with 8mbps. Switching over to another ISP offering 60mbps because we're sick of not being able to upgrade and just overall shitty speeds.

Quick update: Found an ISP willing to come Friday

In the heat of the moment, our internet plan was just cancelled in order to switch to another ISP. I don't know if our cancellation is effective immediately or not. Just a heads up to everyone if you don't see me around on the forums or servers for a while. We'll be looking for a new provider and hopefully will be back online within the week. xd

I don't play many graphics intensive games. I just want to experience 144hz for CS:GO. I play on 1080p rn and I'm fine with it. I have a GTX 960 4gb if that helps. And like I said in the OP, at least 21 inches is fine.

I've been using an Acer S27HL since 2014-2015. It's your basic big boy monitor. 1080p, 60hz, etc. After all these years, I'n looking to upgrade. 1080p minimum. 144hz preferred. Budget is around ~250 USD. Edit: Monitor size should be at least >21 inches. If you guys have any suggestions for a monitor, please post them. Many thanks.

You could look into the BenQ Zowie mice. They seem to be a decent alternative to the Deathadder (still using my Deathadder of 3~ years but will probably change soon).
